The use of #AI tech in drug discovery will likely reduce both the time and money needed to develop life-changing and life-saving treatments. This tech gives researchers the ability to design a molecule that will bind to a specific place on a protein and being able to predict how strongly it will bind, which is a crucial step if you want to design drugs and compounds that will help with disease, says Demis Hassabis.
