Findings: Fat stranding in the herniated mesenteric fat strongly suggesting strangulation Case discussion: Radiologists are often asked to assess for an incarcinated hernia, which in terms of hernia means irreducible ,It is actually a clinical diagnosis. What clinician actually want us to comment on is if there is any constriction to the blood vessels or any signs of strangulation. In this case, there is fat stranding suggesting inflammatory process and strangulation
