How to identify a dangling participle and fix it

I am currently reading How to Win Friends and Influence People (Great book, 100/10 recommend) This quote from Mark Manson newsletter got me going... So many people are quick to... Judge. Interrupt. Push their opinion. Any chance they get... It is something as a young man I was guilty of for a long time. Ofc we all have a feeling of justification when someone says something we don't agree with or comes across as "attacking" us. And I was the first one to get my back up if i got the chance. But I have learned there is such power in silence. And that with more life experience, sometimes it is honestly just better to keep your thoughts to yourself. Let them think what they want to think. Let them say what they want to say. You know why? Because no matter what you say, they wont change their mind anyway.. So why waste your precious energy, time and voice on someone who it won't effect. Even if it would be in a positive manner. You know your values and if you don't agree with something that is said. Just simply "I can see why you could potentially see it like that" and change the subject to something more agreeable. And move on. People will always be people, it is up to you what sort of people you surround yourself with. And it is up to you what people you let effect you. When was a time in your life you realised the importance of silence? Stay Confident. Stay Silent. Stay You.

https://lnkd.in/gHDS9S-j Woke up today and I watched this promotion video from Brooks Running, and it is such an inspirational story from one of my favourite Marvels movie superheroes, Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye. Everything he spoke about in his video is something that I can relate with (except the accident). I understand what it is like to have so many mistakes and failures in my life and I understand what it is like to always want to keep getting up, to keep trying, and to keep fighting. While others saw it as pointless and a waste of time, I saw it differently. I knew that one day things would change and things would be different. So I kept on persevering. I am so glad that I persevered. Because after nearly 20 years of following my passions and now calling, I have finally achieved that very first big step towards my goal. It may have taken me nearly 20 years to get there, but hey, point is that I got there. And I never stopped chasing after my goals/dream. I didn't give up when others thought that I should.
