Joining TCFD, and TNFD, we have Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD) ! Do we need more letters in our sustainability soup? Mostly no, it would be simpler to understand and use if we could combine a few. But sometimes yes when you're bringing more important facets into the mix. 💡Principles for Responsible Investment and TISFD hosted a panel to share more about the importance of analysis of social issues such as inequality in health, economic security, and access to work alongside climate and biodiversity for decision making. Such aspects erode social cohesion and contribute to instability, as well as inhibit growth and development due to impacts on overall demand, competition and wellbeing. 👏 From inception the aim of TISFD has been to create a global framework and body of evidence for benchmarking to support existing standard setters with interoperability as a key principle. In an era where governments are embracing circular economy roadmaps as primary drivers of #transition, it's essential to scrutinize their nature, production process, governance, and effectiveness. #Join the World Circular Economy Forum WCEF 2024 Accelerator Session, organized by Chatham House and supported by UNIDO. This session will explore over 70 national circular economy #roadmaps and #strategies, incorporating more than 2700 policy actions. We'll delve into the recent launch of the African Circular Economy Roadmap and Chilean national circular economy roadmap, complementing our findings. Our goal is to bridge #knowledgegaps, shedding light on critical aspects of these roadmaps. By presenting insights from the world’s first global stocktake of national circular economy roadmaps, we aim to contribute perspectives to global discussions.
