This is NOT a remote position. The ideal Technical Support Customer Representative will be the face of Fanimation to consumers, Dealers, and Agency partners. The Representative will have a strong mechanical aptitude and assist in solving simple to complex issues with fan installation and usage via Phone and email. Background in a call center, retail, or customer service required. What will you do: Respond and troubleshoot ceiling fan technical support via phone during the installation and operation of fans, including wiring, programming, and assembly. Assist and troubleshoot the programming of remote controls and receivers. Diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical, and electrical issues regarding fan usage. Interact with diverse customers and communicate technical information with various levels of knowledge. Receive, document, and respond to inbound customer inquiries. Assist customers with installation questions during the pre-sale buying process. Escalate emerging trends for team leaders. Process and resolve returns, recalls, shipment errors, backorders, order changes/cancelations, and pricing discrepancies. Input order information into ERP and review for accuracy.
