𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚 🇻🇪 Published in the Odous Científica. 👉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲. Is to describe the factors that influence the preservation of the peri-implant complex, based on a case report.  The root remnants of a lower right first molar were extracted without flap elevation, and an immediate subcrestal #implant with an internal hexagonal connection was placed at a distance of 4 mm apical to the mucosal zenith. In the same #surgical act, an individualized emergence profile conformer was screwed, and impregnated with a slow-release #oxygen gel (blue®m), outlining the contour of the #tissues and sealing the alveolar osseous defect. At 4 months, the implant was rehabilitated with a screwed-cemented zirconia crown. Controls were carried out for 24 months. From this case, it was determined that the factors that influence the preservation of the peri-implant complex are: the control of dimensional alterations during the #healing processes, the adequate manipulation of tissues and the selection/location of the implant-supported prosthesis adjusted to an ideal local geometry, which allows successful implant-tissue interaction.

https://lnkd.in/gCqcmVvK The Essix is a device that we use to protect the ceramic implant, so as you know we place CeraRoot in our practice and we always give this to the patient so it’s not optional. It is mandatory because this way the implant would be protected from micromovements. we don’t want to move the implant where the bone is healing around because we can create a bigger defect and it can be loose so we want to protect the implant from micromovements with the Essix. The Essix is similar to Invisalign or SureSmile retainers. It is not going to move your teeth but it’s custom made so it’s really tight. this is going to get more comfortable once you start taking in and out to clean it because it stretches. If it’s too uncomfortable so we would like you to call us and come to the office, we can help you to do some adjustments that we can make it more comfortable but also you can do some adjustments at home with a nail file or with nail Scissors just a little cut. Please call us, we’re always here to help and we’re happy to do so. please always wash it with with water. we don’t want any chemicals that sticks in the essix and it can go to the implant site and and just affect the healing somehow. The essix will be in your mouth for two and a half to 3 months . if you follow all the post instructions there is a really high chance that at two and a half months we’re going to tell you to stop the essix and start eating soft food and then two weeks later, after you start with the soft food you can start with raw vegetables like apples and carrots but slides so you can do some slides of these vegetables and start eating with the implant so this way the brain is sending some fibroblasts which are the cells that produce keratin. keratinized gum to be around the future crown so it’s really important to have good bone and it’s really important to have good gum to place the crown over the implant.
