#WikiWeex When designing an exhibition, choosing colors is really important. Each color is carefully selected to make visitors' experience special and interesting. This process contributes to shaping the exhibition's atmosphere and eliciting specific emotions from visitors during their visit. Curators carefully choose colors that align with the exhibition's theme and message. Exhibitions use colors to make visitors feel more engaged, and colors can significantly impact how visitors experience the entire exhibition. Have you visited an exhibition that engaged you because of its color choice? Share your experience in the comments! - #WeExhibit #WikiWeex #OurServices #ExhibitionDesign #VisitorsExperience #VisitorsEngagement

Here is a very quick video of my solo exhibition's main space for those who can't make it to Torquay. (It is short, so as to give a taste of the work, but not too detailed that it will stop people actually visiting the exhibition.)

For those who have been connected with my for several years, you may recall the 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 we ran on some interesting topics. One of the challenges we had at the time was to get enough participation to keep the Live Events going... it therefore stalled :-( You would expect people and companies want exposure to present their thinking on how they can help the glass container industry... but getting participation was difficult... maybe a little 'stage fright'? Not sure... 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐖𝐀𝐘, 𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐓 𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒... If you want to see how the events ran before then I will put a few links in the comments below for you to 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐞. There was also a live event I did at the Glassman Exhibition/Conference, putting people on the spot at their very own exhibition stands. I will post that somewhere in the comments later too. That should give you an idea of how things are run. The idea is to get your ideas out to the glass community. 𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝐟 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔. Happy to join CMEMS Conference 2024 tomorrow, organised by students of the Research Master Classical, Medieval and Early Modern Studies at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. I love a little cross disciplinary exploration :) Together with Basak Tanulku, who will call in from Istanbul, I will talk about the two Routledge Taylor & Francis Group volumes Basak Tanulku and I edited and about my PhD research at Radboud University on the dynamics of gated communities. Physical and Symbolic Boordees and Boundaries: https://lnkd.in/euUxgnxQ.
The moment has almost arrived! Tomorrow, Thursday 6 June, is the first day of the CMEMS 2024 Conference. You are very welcome to join us at the University Museum Groningen. Check the website for the timetable and to register for the conference. 👀 COMING TO SUPERRARE ✧ November 8th “The Space Between” Presented by: Hildabroom Management x Colonna Contemporary x SuperRare This curated release features the work of 11 artists exploring the delicate balance between individuality and collective impact, as they navigate the evolving digital art landscape. In this exhibition, the artists blur the boundaries between the digital and the tangible featuring works both digitally and physically native. Their work suggests that the relationship between these two mediums is not one of opposition but of mutual enhancement, creating a dialogue that enriches both types of their work. As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of art innovation, these artists remind us of a fundamental truth: the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack. They stand as individuals, each with their own distinct voice, yet they move in unison toward a shared goal. In their hands, the future of art is both a collective endeavor and a personal journey—one where digital and physical realms are not separate worlds, but integrated experiences. https://lnkd.in/g9zMiZcQ

Cannes is neither perfect nor overblown. It’s up to you… if you want to consume all the creativity on display in the Palais. It’s up to you… if you want to sit through the plethora of GenAI conversations. It’s up to you…if you want to catch up with long lost colleagues along the Croisette. It’s up to you… if you want to party at Baoli or La Guerite It’s up to you…if you want to imagine & ideate the future of our industry in a pavement cafe. That’s the beauty of Cannes. What we choose to do; how we choose to do it; and who we choose to do it with. It’s entirely up to each of us. Cannes - like life - is up to each and every one of us. We get out what we put in. The most important bit of thinking you can do when you are exhibiting is to understand why. It sounds very simple - and perhaps it is - but without it, you have a real risk of vagueness! Visitors to the exhibition and your booth deserve to have their curiosity piqued quickly, efficiently and very professionally. A lack of clarity as to your reasons for being there will come across and "vagueness" is not a good thing! If you are exhibiting soon, ask yourself these questions: - Why am I interested in this exhibition? - What am I going to tell my visitors? - If I can only talk about one thing about my business, what would it be? and is this exciting enough! #exhibitionmastery
