As the fall conference season quickly approaches, a few things to keep in mind if you or your company/client is attending industry events but not sponsoring, and lacks access to press attendee lists: ✅ Leverage partnerships: If the company has a partner attending (that's sponsoring), see if they can discreetly share the press list. ✅ Utilize social media: Monitor X and LinkedIn for posts from press about attending the event. ✅ Do your research: Look up press who covered last year’s event or similar ones to get an idea of who might attend this year. #pr #publicrelations #communications #events #press

Since it's conference season and I will be attending a few events this month (some local and a bigger one in Vegas), here is what happens when people don't read, as I always tell my kids, PR will get a press pass (never requested one nor I needed one): "I noticed that you are a member of the press, so what I have done is amended your pass type to a press pass, which gives you access to all of the co-located shows, as well as access to VIP networking areas and more." 🤪 #PR #media #techPR #PRfirm #enterprisePR #datainfrastructure #publicrelations #PRspecialists
