☃️ Festive Greetings from the Laboratory of Genetics and Physiology at Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry! To all our amazing #partners and #colleagues, near and far, thank you for an incredible year of collaboration. Here’s to a joyful holiday season and a New Year full of growth and breakthroughs! "May the next year bring to all of you: 🌱 New projects with huge budgets and zero strict project administrators looking over your shoulder. 🔬 #Lab equipment that’s smarter than us and never develops a personality. 🎓 #PhD students who think data analysis is fun, sleep is overrated and deadlines are thrilling! 🤝 #Collaborations where ideas flow as smoothly as coffee (and zero endless video meetings). 🌍 #Global connections that come with free conference trips to sunny places (cocktails included!). 📑 An #administration that fights for researchers, not against them, because someone has to #FEED THE WORLD and #SAVE THE PLANET while we try not to get buried under paperwork! 💥And, of course, your #dream team—no capes, no superpowers, just a group of people who somehow get everything done while questioning their life choices and celebrating every tiny victory like it’s a Nobel Prize or a Nature publication (even if it’s just a well-organized folder)! Cheers to a fantastic year ahead! #greatings #projects #partners #opportunity #research

📚 Facilitating PhD Research with Global Impact – Open to Collaboration I’m delighted to share my role in the processing of PhD dissertation proposal of Md. Abu Bakar from the Department of Entomology at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU). His research, titled: "Seasonal Incidence and Damage Severity of Soybean Insect Pests and Their Management in Major Soybean Growing Areas of Coastal Ecosystem," focuses on addressing critical challenges in sustainable agriculture by exploring effective pest management strategies for soybean crops in coastal ecosystems. As part of the process, I facilitated the nomination of six highly qualified dissertation examiners, including two foreign experts, ensuring compliance with academic standards and promoting international collaboration. This step underscores the significance of incorporating diverse perspectives to enhance research quality. Panel Highlights: The examiners include renowned academics from Bangladesh and India, with expertise in entomology, crop science, and plant protection. This experience reaffirms my commitment to advancing impactful research and supporting global academic excellence. With years of experience in research coordination, educational administration, and policy implementation, I am eager to contribute my expertise to renowned universities worldwide. 🔑 I am open to international collaborations, especially in postgraduate program management, research facilitation, and higher education policy. If your institution seeks professionals to foster academic innovation, let’s connect and work together to make a difference. #PhDResearch #HigherEducation #GlobalCollaboration #Entomology #SustainableAgriculture #ResearchManagement #FoodSecurity #AcademicExcellence

This research paper focuses on understanding the effects of stage-sensitive variable rates of nitrogen management in rapeseed (Brassica rapa L.) within a temperate ecological context. The study aimed to investigate how manipulating the timing and amount of nitrogen application during different growth stages of rapeseed plants affects their overall performance like yield and nitrogen use efficiency.
