🤔 Someone please explain to me how Palestinians are supposed to be peaceful and respectful to Israelis when they clearly have 0 regard for Palestinian lives?
The argument of “this is in response to Oct. 7th” fails on so many levels- the first being: why is it so easy for IDF soldiers to make a game out of exploding religious places of worship, civilian neighborhoods, all civilian infrastructures such as universities, hospitals, etc.?
Why are they okay with the number of civilian casualties? In reality, the numbers being projected are only a fraction of the truth- many bodies obliterated to the point of being unrecognizable, or reduced to a limb here and another there, or simply lost under the rubble until today. (Recent news has concluded the REAL estimate of casualties is around 200,000).
The answer is simple: they have been taught to hold a specific prejudice towards Palestinians, and were waiting for that prejudice to be validated (i.e. Oct 7th). When they got the chance, they were excited- finally we have a “reason” to wipe them out.
This type of ideology should not exist. This type of system (apartheid) should not exist. I find it hard to see a future where Palestine and Israel can coexist. After this much damage… how is it possible?
