Seeing the impact of comprehensive reentry programs firsthand, such as those implemented by our grantee, The First 72+, has reaffirmed my belief in the power of holistic support systems. These initiatives focus on skill development, mental health, and community integration, demonstrating that with the right tools, people can thrive. This is a vivid reminder of how our approach to supporting people in communities can have profound, life-altering effects. #CriminalJusticeReform #Rehabilitation

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our new evidence-based program for adolescents struggling with alcohol and substance use issues. 🚀💪 Our holistic counseling model supports youth facing substance and mental health challenges, including trauma, by fostering mindful self-awareness, decision-making skills, and meaningful relationships. Introducing the Seven Challenges: 1️⃣ Opening up and talking honestly about ourselves and substance use. 2️⃣ Exploring why we use alcohol and other drugs. 3️⃣ Assessing if our use has caused harm. 4️⃣ Taking responsibility for our actions. 5️⃣ Setting goals and planning for the future. 6️⃣ Making thoughtful decisions about our lives. 7️⃣ Following through on our decisions and addressing challenges. Together, let's empower adolescents to take charge of their lives and create positive change! 💙 #ChildFocus #YouthEmpowerment #SubstanceUseRecovery #MentalHealthAwareness

Youth engaged for mental health - A framework for youth participation under the WHO Pan-European Mental Health Coalition The framework was developed to answer a strong and consistent request from WHO pan-European Coalition members that young people be actively engaged in activities undertaken by WHO which impact young people’s mental health and well-being across the European Region, whether it be policy or guidance development, research or programming. Young Coalition members initiated development of the framework to ensure that the active participation of young people was carried out in a way that was consistent, meaningful and, most importantly, underpinned by what young people want and need to feel safe and empowered to engage.
