Final testing of 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝘁 using the ESP-NOW protocol. In my last post, I uploaded a testing video of the gesture-controlled bot. It worked well, but when turning left and right, it experienced excessive motion, likely due to mechanical constraints. That version used two motors for movement. This time, I used four motors, and all movements - FORWARD, BACKWARD, LEFT, and RIGHT are functioning properly. I also added rechargeable cells and charging circuits to both the transmitter and receiver, making charging easier. As of now, the overall accuracy of this rover is good. Stair Climbing Robot Simulation. 🤖 📢 This video introduces a simulation of a stair climbing robot using RecurDyn. Verify various algorithms, including controllers for posture and speed control using RecurDyn. 💫

One feature I don’t see in DSPs that would be very cool. Flighting of frequency caps. You can manually flight your reach and frequency ahead of time during times you know you will need to throttle it.

Testing an 8-Blade Prop Adapter on the Mini 2! I decided to try out an 8-blade propeller adapter on the Mini 2. Here’s what happened: ↘️ First Attempt: The props wobbled initially, but I hoped they’d stabilize during flight. ↘️ Reality: ✅ They didn’t. ✅ Flight was challenging due to balance issues and ESC confusion. Despite the difficulties, the drone surprisingly took off and flew decently! What Went Wrong? ↘️ The propeller adapter didn’t perform as expected, especially the titanium parts, which were too stiff and heavy. ↘️ I switched to polycarbonate and nylon for testing, which worked better. Bottom line: Sometimes, crazy ideas work! But in this case, there’s no advantage to using an adapter like this. Haha, you remember the movie Speed 2? If you do I think you can relate. If you don't you can still laugh 🤣 I've been working / testing a little bit how Visual Components could be used in a harbor setting. I've spent some time making the boat with boolean features, see a post from some week back, and then to make this crane work. But, there is some work left 🤠to get this collision free. The boat is actually a mobile robot, and is using all the goodies from the mobile robot library for free. so getting that going was easy. To make it behave not like Speed 2, I just need to add some pathways 🎈 Sadly, I have to many good customer meetings planned 🤣, so no time to play with this one in the near future.
