I have been reading and hearing from so many in the market that recruitment is a dying trade as with automation we will not need people to do the work. However robots cannot build relationships and the fact is that most people want to build a relationship with a person. What are your thoughts about recruitment and automation? #Automation #certusrecruitment #recruitment

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 Imagine a factory assembly line where every few minutes, the machine stops and workers have to fix it manually. That’s what outdated recruitment processes feel like—constant breakdowns, inefficiencies, and slow progress. When we introduced Specere to a recruitment company, we fixed the machine. Suddenly, tasks like candidate screening, application processing, and communication were fully automated. The line never stopped, and productivity soared. Recruitment should run like a well-oiled machine—smooth, fast, and without interruption. #RecruitmentProductivity #AIInHiring #Specere

An entire HR department at a massive company got FIRED for setting up an auto-rejection robot incorrectly! Sources - Reddit, linkedin and "trust me bro" Just apply to the jobs and network. Ignore the courses, coaching(unless you properly vet the coach) and too good to be true promises(like ATS proof resumes that result in 100% salary increases etc). If you read something that makes you feel some type of way on linkedin, look for how much it's going to cost you hidden in the messaging. Happy Monday! Let's get after it Richie and R2 the ATS robot! #recruiterlife

We live in a world where automation is everywhere, and while it can be useful, it’s not a replacement for genuine outreach. When I get a message from a recruiter saying they’ve “looked at my profile” and are “so impressed,” but it’s clear they haven’t actually done any research, it’s a huge turn-off. Recruiting is about people, not algorithms. It’s about taking the time to know who you’re reaching out to, understanding their unique value, and making a real connection. Automation might save time, but at what cost? This is why so many people have lost faith in recruiters—because when everything feels automated, it also feels impersonal. Let’s bring back the real connections. Do the research. Put in the effort. And remember, people can always tell the difference.

Automation IS the next and current wave that all businesses are investing in. Even my local barber. On Sunday I got online and scheduled an appointment, didn’t talk to a single person for this transactional part of the process. Right after scheduling, I got an email from my barber about some key pieces of information (address, time of event, even an option to add to my calendar). Today I got a confirmation email. We can learn from this in recruitment as well. Keeping constant communication with clients and candidates to keep them on track with the small things (interviews, start date reminders, credential expirations, etc). The transactional things can stay transactional. Save the recruiters energy for the relationship building, and ensuring everything goes smoothly. Automation can handle everything in between.
