Finally published in Angewandte Chemie, our work on Taylor dispersion-induced phase separation (TDIPS). We present a novel application of the FIDA1 instrument by Fida Biosystems, which allows to screen conditions that modulate the liquid-liquid phase separation and condensation of a protein, using only a few tens of nanoliters per sample. The methods is very easy to use by anybody with access to the off-the-shelf FIDA1 instrument. I believe this method has the potential to be extremely useful for anybody interested in these phenomena in a biomedical or biotechnological context. And for the geeks (such as myself): there is some extremely rich non-equilibrium physical chemistry to be explored further. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/d-At-y9e

Successful translational science relies on the seamless collaboration of three fundamental player types: 👩🔬 👨🔬 Medicinal/Computational Chemists: These innovators design and synthesize the molecules that serve as the foundation for new therapeutics. 🔬 🧬 Biochemists/Pharmacologists: Once synthesized, these experts validate the effectiveness of these molecules both in vitro and in vivo, ensuring their potential benefits. 🩺 💊 Clinicians/Regulators: Finally, these professionals are essential for regulating and prescribing these molecules as approved drugs, translating scientific breakthroughs into real-world applications. The First Cannabinoid Translational Science Symposium will be an incredible opportunity for these players to confront and brainstorm about these critical processes. We’re honored to have Prof. Nadine Jagerovic from the CONSEJO SUPERIOR DE INVESTIGACIONES CIENTÍFICAS as one of our keynote speakers, bringing her valuable chemical expertise to the forefront 🌐 👉 Discover more about the program and other keynote speakers at https://lnkd.in/d3ZPBj-S Let’s drive innovation together! 💡✨ 😎 #TranslationalScience #Keynote #Innovation #Cannabinoids #Collaboration #CannabinoidTranslationalScience
