The third flight test of Starship is targeted to launch Thursday, March 14. The 110-minute test window opens at 7:00 a.m. CT. You can watch the live launch webcast at SpaceX.com/launches or on X.com/SpaceX starting approximately 30 minutes ahead of liftoff. The third flight test aims to build on what we’ve learned from previous flights while attempting a number of ambitious objectives. Read more about the test at spacex.com/launches This rapid iterative development approach has been the basis for all of SpaceX’s major innovative advancements, including Falcon, Dragon, and Starlink. Recursive improvement is essential as we work to build a fully reusable transportation system capable of carrying both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, help humanity return to the Moon, and ultimately travel to Mars and beyond.

Good morning LinkedIn network. Here is something exciting to see this morning. The ethical argument of whether to continue seeking to conquer space or place resources in saving planet Earth from… 💭💭💭 This is just as exciting and interesting and as important as AI and Quantum computing advancements to find answers and solutions or perhaps identify the problem itself. #spaceindustry #spacetravel #saveearth #technologyadvancements

Did you watch the live launch of the SpaceX Starship? Being designers and with Gregory being particularly interested in all things space, the Salsus Design team couldn't help but down tools and watch this monumental occasion of impressive innovation and engineering! The last test launch was only in November 2023 (That's just under 4months ago! You read that right, just 4 months!) and the rocket wasn't able to get out of the atmosphere. This time, the rocket was able to get out of our atmosphere, cruise in space, then start to make its decent into our atmosphere, at which point the signal was lost. It didn't have the ideal result, but the result was still progress and progress in the right direction. I imagine there will be a number of people saying what a waste of money, but unfortunately this is an example of the design, development & research process, just showcased on a significantly larger scale than most are used to. In such a short space of time, such a lot of progress has been made! I wonder how long it will be until the next test? Not only that, just think how much progress will be made on the next test flight! Will it land? 🤔🚀 #innovation #spaceexploration #spacetech #spacetechnology #design #development #engineeringinnovation #research
