I’m thrilled to announce that a few weeks ago, Bioland AS successfully installed and commissioned their first Pyrolysis Boiler C160-F in Norway! 🎉 A huge thanks to Knut Møyner Hohle and Hans anders Kjos and his team, and the entire BioLand AS team for their dedication and expertise in making this project a reality. Emphasizing that you have managed to get it all done without requiring that anyone from Biomacon had to come out. Special gratitude also goes to Aleksander Systad and his project team at Risa AS, a passionate and innovative client from Norway’s contracting sector, renowned for their infrastructure solutions. Your enthusiasm and support were invaluable! 🙌 Thanks for this great Video! Risa AS is now able to generate 1.280GWh of regenerative heat annually and produce 165t of biochar per year with a carbon storage capacity of approximately 400tCO2eq/a. 🌍This marks the 4th Biomacon Pyrolysis system we have successfully developed in Norway as Decarbo-Engineering GmbH —and the first collaboration with Bioland AS. With applications targeting medium-sized operations (1,000-2,000 t/a feedstock input), we’re confident this is just the beginning of an exciting journey in advancing sustainable solutions in the region. 💪The partnership with Bioland has grown over the past three years, and seeing the momentum now—starting with the first order last year and two more systems already in line—is truly rewarding. 👏 Big respect to BioMaCon GmbH and Ulrich Suer for designing such a robust and versatile BCR system, catering to feedstock capacities from 500 t/a to 2,300 t/a. Yesterday at the Single-Use Event in Leiden some interesting presentations, amongst others from two of Progress - Experts in Life Sciences customers Galapagos, Kai Touw and Erasmus MC, Sofieke de Wilde, and from Sartorius, Gerben Zijlstra. Process innovations leading to shorter process times can be accomplished by integrating DSP process steps (Sartorius) and by automation of process steps - CAR-T process in Cocoon - and eliminating steps - freeze-thaw steps- (Galapagos) Having a good contamination control strategy is essential to prevent contamination via materials (disposables) in your (ATMP) cleanrooms (Erasmus MC). #WeAccelerateImprovement #Innovation #Biotech #ATMP
