Alhamdu lillah, I've got my badge for the Global AI Summit (GAIN 2024) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 - very excited! Really looking forward to this monumental event, a testimony to the investment and dedication into digital transformation and AI across the Kingdom. In sha Allah, I'm going to be paying close attention to the topic of 'AI Nation' at the conference, which explores the use of AI by governments. This topic is unsurprisingly very important given there is both so much excitement and yet considerable caution by governments in the adoption of AI. There is much to say about the role that data and AI literacy has to play in helping public sector organisations to understand how to approach this, given historically they are usually unable to attract or retain the kind of talent needed to sustainably deliver large scale transformation programmes - without help from consultancy companies.
