Yesterday morning, I had the honour of making the Keynote address at the East African Innovation Summit, within the Kenya Innovation Week #kiw2024 Symposium. We explored the practical application of Design Thinking. Unpacked how we’ve utilised this approach to develop customer-centric solutions, such as our Digital Wallet, #Timiza, which supports customers with immediate micro lending, savings and insurance. At the heart of our work is a commitment to empowering customers, because their stories are what truly matter. By understanding their pain points and needs, we work to craft meaningful propositions that make a real difference. It was equally an inspiring session to connect with an engaged and forward-thinking audience including leaders in academia, exchanging ideas on how to introduce and ultimately embed Design Thinking within higher learning institutions.
