An investigation will be conducted by NEBOSH to determine whether you are innocent, and you will have to wait for the investigation results. ☆ The following procedures will take place: ¤ Your registration for NEBOSH exams will be suspended until the investigation is completed and your innocence is confirmed. ¤ The announcement of your result will be delayed, and your grade will not be disclosed until the investigation is finished. ☆ The investigation may take up to two months. ☆ After the investigation is concluded, there may be two outcomes: 1. *False Alarm*: If the suspicion proves to be unfounded, your result will be announced. 2. *Cheating Proven*: If cheating is confirmed, you will be banned from registering for NEBOSH exams for a temporary period (from 1 to 3 years) or permanently, depending on the nature of the cheating, the recurrence, and the circumstances. 📂 *Frequently Asked Question*: Can I copy and paste my own answers that I previously wrote in an external file (such as Word)? The answer is yes. If you wrote your answers in an external file before opening the NEBOSH file and then copied them into the NEBOSH document, this is not considered cheating. The key is that your answers are your own work, not copied directly from other sources. ☆ NEBOSH uses the "Turnitin" program to detect cheating. This program employs artificial intelligence to check for similarities between students' answers and other online sources or past exam papers. ☆ *How does the program work?* The program compares the student’s answers with a massive database, which includes: - Online content (research papers, articles, news, etc.) - Previous exam answers uploaded to the system. Once the exam paper is uploaded to the system, Turnitin generates a report showing the percentage of similarity with other sources. #Tips_to_Avoid_Cheating: 1. *Do not share your exam paper with anyone.* 2. *Ensure that your references are correctly cited* to avoid them being counted as part of the copied content. 3. *Avoid copying and pasting or transferring from others*, whether from your peers or external sources. I observe numerous training institutes in the Maldives that provide programs for both public and private sectors, yet I question whether there's genuine improvement in the workforce. Is there a monitoring system within our country to assess the effectiveness of these trainings? As a trainer myself, I notice minimal improvements. What measures can we take to enhance this? Is our training methodology ineffective? Expecting a mere 6-hour training session to alter an individual's ingrained habits renders the training ineffective. We require comprehensive training lasting at least 21 days, tailored to the specific work area of each individual. This occurred to me as I reviewed CVET practices in the Maldives.
