TECHNICALS | Historically, when the S&P 500 was up by more than 10% for consecutive quarters, it performed exceptionally well over the subsequent 5 years, with an average cumulative return of 92.6% in Dollar terms. We have again seen two consecutive quarters with returns in excess of 10% and if history holds true, it would corroborate the average length of historic secular bull markets of between 16 and 20 years.
