I wonder if drug users will have the right to decline involuntary (abstinence focused) treatment, given the risks associated with it. There are two systematic reviews on it and none of them show benefit of the involuntary treatment. Is this bill only covers the right to decline vaccinations? How about the healthcare rights of substance users? Civil liberties apply to some and not others? Is this supposed to make #Alberta one of the freest jursidiction on earth? The same province does not regard the healthcare rights of drug users. Clients and colleagues often ask us: “How do you obtain a settlement under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (#VICP)?”   When you file a vaccine injury claim under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, your claim has three potential outcomes:   (i)                 the Vaccine Court can award you compensation, (ii)               the Vaccine Court can deny your claim, or (iii)              you can enter into a settlement with the government.   For many claimants, entering into a settlement is the best option. There are a couple of reasons why. First, settling your VICP claim provides certainty. Regardless of how strong your claim may be, there is no guarantee that the Vaccine Court will rule in your favor. While the Vaccine Court may rule in your favor if you overcome certain challenges, taking your claim to court inherently involves an element of uncertainty.   Second, settling your VICP claim is generally the quickest path to a resolution. If you don’t settle your claim, you will need to present your case at a hearing before the Vaccine Court. You will need to wait for your hearing to be scheduled, and once your hearing is over, you will need to wait for the Vaccine Court’s decision. A major decision regarding mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policies was recently handed down in the United States. The decision considered the definition of a “vaccine” by comparing Covid-19 vaccination to “traditional” vaccines that were contemplated in a US decision during the smallpox pandemic. Interestingly, the US Appeals Court held that Covid-19 vaccines do not satisfy the definition of “vaccine” as they do not prevent the spread of the disease. Rather, they classified Covid-19 vaccinations as a form of “medical treatment” to which the individual right to refuse medical treatment superseded the State’s duty to prevent the spread of a disease. It is likely that this case will be appealed, again. Nonetheless, the case provides a groundbreaking precedent regarding the classification of Covid-19 vaccinations and the legality of vaccine mandates. It will be interesting to follow the case, if it is appealed, and to see if similar challenges are commenced in the US. https://lnkd.in/gaw6BiuA

Basis for Claim: Misconduct and Negligence: The respondents, including the Norwegian Government, Lillesand Municipality, and local doctors, have committed misconduct and negligence in the administration of COVID-19 vaccinations. This includes improper administration of doses, inadequate training for medical personnel, and unsafe handling procedures. Use of Unproven Treatment: The respondents have failed to provide the public with access to alternative treatments, such as ivermectin, which is claimed to be 100% effective against COVID-19. By failing to explore or offer alternative treatments, the respondents have breached their duty to provide safe and effective healthcare services to the public. Access to Alternative Treatments: I request that the respondents provide access to alternative treatments, such as ivermectin, for individuals seeking protection against COVID-19.
