My 1402 year in review. 1402 was a fruitful year for me. It was a year of growth, development, and accomplishment. Despite so many constraints within the country, I moved on with patience and I am satisfied when I am looking back. Religiously, it was an excellent year as it started and ended with the holy month of Ramadan. It was truly a blessing year. Generally, it was a year of learning and maturing. Overall, the challenges and experiences of the past year have contributed to my personal growth and a deeper understanding of myself and the world. The biggest lesson which I learned this year is, “to be grateful”. I feel myself wiser and matured compared to the years before. Previously, I was thinking for hours to find something to be grateful for. However, now I have more than hundreds of reasons for gratitude. I am grateful for even a very small positive and gratifying thing in my life. For example, If I reach office on time, if I eat good food, if I am happy with my family and friends, if I complete my office tasks on time, if I read a few pages of a book, if I learn something new, if I help a person on the street, and hundreds of other reasons. I worked hard but moved on gradually, step by step, until I approached to the end of year successfully and this is what I am suggesting other country fellows to follow to see a good result. Even if the positive change in your life is small or imperceptible, don't forget that today's small changes will lead to tomorrow's major accomplishments. Saying that, I wish everyone in advance a wonderful New Year ahead. #Nawrooz1403

Reflecting on a Meaningful Financial Literacy Workshop Experience Last month, I had the privilege of co-hosting a transformative financial literacy workshop with my incredible colleague, Muhamad Sulaiman. This initiative was part of the Duta Cerdik Kewangan Program, a remarkable collaboration between GivingHub and FWD Takaful designed to empower persons with disabilities (PWDs) and gig workers with essential financial skills. We wanted to create a learning environment that was as engaging as it was educational. Instead of relying on traditional lecture methods, we incorporated gamified and interactive learning tools, including financial board games and financial simulations. This approach not only simplified complex concepts but also made the learning experience enjoyable and memorable for participants. As with any project of this scale, we faced our share of challenges. Navigating logistics, dividing tasks effectively, conducting participant outreach, and presenting content in Malay pushed me out of my comfort zone. There were moments of uncertainty where I questioned whether we could pull it all together. But through teamwork, determination, and the invaluable guidance of Nurul Hakimah Mohamad and Chin Shuen, we overcame these hurdles. Her patience and leadership were essential in helping this workshop into a successful and impactful event. Seeing participants deeply engaged with GivingHub’s custom board game and our financial simulation was incredibly rewarding. Witnessing their smiles and hearing their insights reassured me that our efforts were worth it. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing teams at GivingHub and FWD Takaful for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful initiative. Collaborating on projects like these reminds me of the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and the power of collaboration. Here’s to more opportunities to learn, grow, and make a difference. #FinancialLiteracy #Empowerment #InclusiveLearning
