Happy to see my recent paper on the importance of competitive pressure for corporate CO2 emission reductions in print at the Review of Finance! 🥳 Always a pleasure to publish in one of the top journals in my field 😎 Big thanks to my co-authors Hossein, Lu and Zahra for staying put! This was not a completely straightforward journey with the first version of the paper receiving a reject&resubmit at the same journal. We worked hard to incorporate the comments from that rejection and ultimately were able to close out the process on the second attempt (with one round of revisions) 🏁 I guess it's a lesson in the importance of persevering but also of encountering someone open-minded enough to give your work a second look. Special thank you to the Editor, Marcin Kacperczyk, for being that person 🤝 Last but not least, great to see another paper on environmental finance in the same issue, which only goes to show the growing importance of the subject 🌳 The paper is published with open access, so please read it and let me know if you have comments. I also have more related work in the pipeline - ping me if you'd like to know more! 📨 #climate #finance #co2 #emissions #networks #competition #sustainability
