MAX established its first restaurant in Poland in 2017 and now has 26 locations across the country. Meet Tomasz Laskowski, Deputy Operations Manager Poland, one of our dedicated people working in the organization.
Tomasz, known as Tomek by his co-workers, is an exceptional leader, driven by passion, courage, and fellowship. By demonstrating unwavering commitment to his team and showing resilience under pressure, Tomasz exemplifies the core values that define MAX.
❔What does a typical day look like?
I'm usually on the road visiting one of our restaurants. A key part of my job is addressing the individual needs of both the employees and the restaurants. We're on a growth journey, and to keep up, we really need to work as a team. When I'm at home, I love making pancakes for my kids for breakfast and taking them to daycare or to activities on weekends.
❔What motivates you the most?
Actions that lead to positive changes and seeing how my team's success makes life easier for everyone.
❔What is MAX's biggest advantage?
The variety in our vegetarian offering and the Rywala burger. "Rywal" means "Rival" in Polish, and it was launched on November 15, 2023, marking the most successful launch in MAX's history.
❔Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
The sky is the limit. Professionally, I hope to position myself where I still have joy and passion that inspires others. Personally, my family dream is to take a 4–6 week tour of the USA.
