We have based all our teachings, investments and acceleration on former 'Accelerace-founders' providing knowledge for and helping our new founders - and this is another wonderful example! 😍 We are doomed to fail if we don't learn from the mistakes others made. That is why we always slightly adjust what we teach new founders, based on our latest experiences, and why our Allstar mentors are an active part of the journey our portfolio companies go on, on their way to the next round of investments 🚀
I am getting old 👴😀 The first time I realized I was getting older was when Kasper Schmeichel became goalkeeper for the Danish national football team because I vividly remember his dad Peter Schmeichel filling the same role. The sensation came back during my lunch with Mads Tvillinggaard Bonde and Samy Tessier. I met Mads in 2012 when his edtech startup Labster was part of our Accelerace cohort. And this year we invested in edtech startup tiny that we believe is the "next Labster". Naturally, I wanted to connect the two founders and we had a great talk about taking an edtech company on a venture journey. Connecting experienced "Accelerace founders" with new portfolio founders is my life now. And I enjoy everyday of it😄
