Greetings to all Linkedin users. I'm Ilham Muhammad Ridho, a first year student of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta in Indonesia. My study program is Accountancy in the faculty of economy and business. At this moment, i want to share about second online meeting as a new Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta. The second online meeting’s title is how to adapt to be a new student. For me as a new college student, this meeting is as important as studying course content. Because there is a big gap between highschool students’ culture and college students' culture in my country, Indonesia. At the first session our mentor gave us some tips that might help us in studying. She told us to pick our favorite learning type. Because if we love the process to achieve something, that will make us feel easier right? After the technique, we need to sort out the tasks from the urgent first. If that two things are implemented, we can boost the mood of ourselves by studying together with friends. The second session, our mentor told us the importance of making social relationships. One of the ways to do it is by joining an organization that we like. In that way, we likely meet another person that has the same goal or interest. The third session is about how to make ourselves stay healthy even with all campus activities. There are three important notes to stay healthy, eat well, exercise and also sleep regularly. Before the last session, our mentor explained the fourth session. She told us to save money with make our food by ourselves. Because some of us will live in boarding houses. The last session is about how to contact our teacher. When we message them, always start with saying sorry for disturbing them and always end with thank you. And try to avoid messaging them during the holidays. Thank you Anindya Khairunnisa Ramadhannis for guiding us #PKKMB2024 #Patribera2024 #VividhaAntaboga #PKKMBUPNVJ #UPNVeteranJakarta #iniceritaguemanaceritalo

Hello everyone! I am Cayla Natania, a student at the Faculty of Business Economics, majoring in Accounting at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, from group 94, mentored by Ka Devi Anggraini. This time, I will share my impressions of mentoring 2. In this mentoring, Ka Devi discussed the topic about "How to Adapt to Being New Students". This topic discusses academic adjustments, study techniques, class participation, and personal branding during college. This mentoring opened by discussing the topic of academic adjustment. Our mentor conveyed several things, namely that students must be able to manage their time by making a list of activities that must be carried out, what must be prioritized in the near time, and not procrastinate on assignments. Next, our mentors discuss study techniques that students need to apply, as well as how to find comfortable study partners and note down important points conveyed by the lecturer in class. Our mentor also explained the rules and prohibitions that exist in our university. At the end of this mentoring, Ka Devi discussed about personal branding. She gave several suggestions, such as students should create a LinkedIn account from now on, learn how to make a CV, join organizations, take part in internal and external volunteer programs, join UKM, KSM, and Ormawa, adapt to the environment, and the most important thing is to increase relationships that can be done using the methods above. However, with a note, we still need to pay attention to the assignments given by lecturers and maintain or even increase our GPA. Lastly, our mentor explained the PKKMB duties to the members again, so that no one was confused, also our mentor didn't forget to hold a question and answer session for the members. The information conveyed by our mentors is very clear and when our members ask questions, the answers are very easy to understand. #PKKMB2024 #Patribera2024 #VividhaAntaboga #PKKMBUPNVJ #UPNVeteranJakarta #iniceritaguemanaceritalo

Finding Inspiration in Uncertainty: My Journey at the Intersection of Politics, Economics, and Technology -+- Inspiration often comes from the most unexpected places. Here I am, a Political Science student at Brawijaya University, currently attending Telkom Indonesia's Digistar Class. Finding myself in a world where the seeds of Indonesia's tech industry are being sown. It’s fascinating to glimpse the bright future of our nation’s tech industry, even amidst the uncertainties of the current political landscape. Yesterday, during a thought-provoking discussion in my Digistar class on personal branding, I reflected on my journey and where I’m headed. While I’m still exploring the exact path I want to specialize in, one thing is clear: my interests consistently gravitate towards economics, politics, and foreign affairs. However, I've always been intrigued by the tech industry—a field that constantly challenges me and fuels my curiosity. Even so, I wouldn’t say that I’m entirely unfamiliar with this field. With an experience in programming and data analytics (thanks to certifications and hands-on experience), I’m continuously seeking opportunities to bridge these diverse fields. Whether it's exploring how data can drive policy decisions or understanding the economic implications of technological advancements, I’m eager to learn and contribute. I’m always open to opportunities that allow me to grow, not just in one area but across multiple fields. The intersection of politics, economics, and technology is where I believe I can make a meaningful impact. Let’s connect and explore how we can collaborate to drive innovation and positive change. Best regards, Dewandito Sulthanaimar Widiyarso #CareerGrowth #PersonalBranding #DigistarClass #DigistarClass2024 #TelkomIndonesia #LivinginTelkom #LevelUp #DigistarClub

Do you know the concept of Future Self-Continuity? It's a scientifically proven theory that if you are able to connect to your "future self" through imaginations and projections, your present self will be empowered to make better actions and decisions. It's also called "intertemporal choice". Based on this valuable piece of insight, We at Mindworks Lab designed a conversation to empower high school students to shape their aspirations and enrich their perspective in making decisions. Huge problems like climate crisis is created because decisions are only based on today's consequences rather than tomorrow. Now the youth will make big decisions in their life, in a situation where huge change are happening across the board. Different era calls for different aspirations. Our conversation designs enable youth to navigate these challenges and discover a sense of agency. Glad to go back to campus to do this collaboration :) It's #TimeToTalk
It's always #TimeToTalk! Our experiential conversation platform, Time To Talk, collaborated with ‘Aku Masuk ITB 2024’ in #Indonesia to host a series of offline conversations with the youth around ‘ Shaping My Future Self’. The event, held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, had 450 participants from 312 different high schools and eight provinces in Indonesia. The conversation delved into participants' future aspirations while connecting them with challenges and issues around them, referencing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. We are so excited to host more conversations with purpose. #MindWorks #ShapeTheFuture #ConnectWithPurpose

It’s humans that put technology to work. It’s humans that make the best of #AI with our creativity, empathy and most importantly, ethics. Thanks to Universitas Ciputra Surabaya for inviting me and Winton Winton to deliver a guest lecture at their lovely campus. I shared insights on likely #jobsofthefuture and how #AItraining will not only benefit students seeking a technical career, but its vast application will also augment many non-tech roles. All of us have certain tasks in our job roles that can be made more efficient with AI so that we can focus on other higher value tasks. Circling back to the notion of humans and technology, I strongly feel that #softskills is a perfect pairing with #techskills training. Analytical skills, complex problem solving, effective communications, Design Thinking applications are critical and #transversalskills that will enhance our capabilities wherever we journey in our professional careers. Additionally, with AI being the technology of the moment; #AI #ethics training essentially for everyone: https://lnkd.in/gWpq6g6j I enjoy partnering with bold tertiary institutions like Ciputra University who is seizing this #AI moment and empowering their students with the essential skills. #AI will fuel the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that prepares their students for the #futureworkforce. #StrivingImpact leads the way forward! A year back, my team and I at University of Malaya Economics Society (PEKUMA) formulated a framework to reshape the landscape of student leadership at Universiti Malaya. Through research and trend analysis, we defined four strategic priorities in the #StrivingImpact framework, aimed at fostering a more dynamic and inclusive student society. As we reflect on the accomplishments of PEKUMA Session 2022/2023, it is evident that #StrivingImpact, at least, has paved the way for change: 1. Operating Effectively: The society underwent significant structural changes, welcoming six new Heads of Divisions (HODs) and refining five flagship initiatives. This overhaul ensured that everything remained relevant and seamlessly integrated. Additionally, for the first time in 48 years, we introduced the PEKUMA Brand Guideline, aligning procedures and marking a historic logo amendment. 2. Improving Diversity: We are proud to have achieved gender balance in our recruitment process, maintaining a 1:1 ratio with six males and six females in our Central Committee. This ensures that every decision made reflects diverse perspectives and is free from gender bias. 3. Supporting Credibility: We refined our flagship initiatives to ensure they resonated with our community and the public at large. Each initiative took progressive steps to develop tailored programs. Take UMES led by the Vice President, Ng Jie Xin (Jason), for example—it successfully attracted 12 listing sponsors to the event, showcasing our commitment to impactful partnerships and engagement. 4. Enhancing Visibility: Our media accounts soared, reaching a record-breaking 549% more users and engaging 1,388 accounts across our social platforms. We partnered with industry giants like Khazanah Nasional and PETRONAS through Graduate Employability & Career Centre (GECC), UM to connect students with incredible opportunities. As we move forward, I am glad to see that our successors are carrying on the legacy of #StrivingImpact in the new session. It is a testament to the effectiveness of our framework in guiding student-led societies towards impactful change. More to come! Do follow @pekuma.um on social media platforms for more updates! Here, I am sharing the details of PEKUMA #StrivingImpact In Brief 2023 for everyone to delve into and enjoy.
