**💬 A Critical Look at the Salary for Diploma Engineers in Bangladesh **Recently, a company has advertised a position for Diploma Engineers offering a salary of 15,000 Taka per month.** Although this may seem as a way through which fresh graduates can be employed, some issues need to be addressed concerning the job market in Bangladesh. This salary for experienced engineers is 15,000 Taka. In a country with a large population and a high rate of unemployment among the youth, the salary for a diploma engineer position is meager. It is therefore important to determine whether such an amount of money can be used to support young professionals as they start working in the various fields, especially in the current economy that is fast developing and where the cost of living is also rising. Is This Fair Compensation? At this salary it is almost impossible to meet the needs of the daily life, especially in urban areas such as Dhaka where the cost of living is high. Is this amount enough for an experienced Engineer? It is quite disappointing that the salary offered is far from what is expected of an Engineer especially when one considers the cost of living in the current economic environment.
