I had a great time at the PIN Society session! In this session I briefly discussed the three key traits that the most successful real estate agents have in common: Application, Basics, and Circle. I like to refer to these as the ABCs of success in real estate! 👉 Application The importance of developing a strong self-discipline (discipline is a skill) and fully understand they are running a business (not just selling houses). 👉 Basics The need to consistently execute the basic sales activities, such as connecting, lead generation, and client relationship management, even when the market is tough. 👉 Circle The value of being part of a supportive community or “circle” of fellow agents to stay motivated, share best practices, and overcome obstacles #RealEstateAgents #SalesTraining #EntrepreneurMindset #SupportCommunity

Recently, I attended an event in Orlando, Florida, where an unexpected and exciting opportunity was announced! Toward the end of the event, the event host revealed that the editor-in-chief of 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙚 —a renowned national publication that highlights stories of leadership, innovation, and achievement— 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 They planned to select four individuals from the audience to participate in a surprise “𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.” Everyone in the room was given an index card to write the name of their pitch and a brief description. I watched as the room buzzed with energy, with attendees eagerly jotting down their ideas. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱. 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻, 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲—𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗽. I hesitated, thinking, 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀? 🤷🏽♀️BUT, I decided to get out of my head and my own way and write something anyway. 𝗧𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱! 😮 I shared the heartbeat behind “The Shyne Awards” — why it was created and why it has sustained for 16 years.
