In this role, you’ll design KPIs, optimize processes, and collaborate with both local and international stakeholders to align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: · Define, develop, and monitor KPIs across multiple teams, offering insights that drive growth and operational efficiency. · Design and maintain actionable dashboards for category management, supply chain, and other departments. · Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, troubleshoot performance issues, and recommend data-backed solutions. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Development, etc.) and international stakeholders, aligning with global best practices. · Communicate insights effectively to drive a data-driven culture and influence key decisions. · Lead initiatives to automate reporting, optimize data pipelines, and improve data infrastructure. · Identify and onboard new tech tools to enhance data analysis capabilities and integrate them with existing systems. · Streamline data collection, aggregation, and visualization to reduce manual efforts and improve accuracy. · Define and execute analytics strategies focused on customer behavior and e-commerce optimization. · Establish comprehensive reporting suites for customer insights and operational metrics. · Oversee A/B test design and analysis to optimize user experience and conversion rates. · Mentor junior analysts, fostering a data-driven mindset and cultivating analytical skills. · Continuously enhance the team’s analytical toolbox to meet evolving business needs.   Qualifications:  Bachelor’s/Master’s in CSE, Business Administration, or Computer Science, with 4+ years in Data Analytics or Business Analytics, strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and tool implementation. From my experience and discussions with hiring managers, I have outlined the differences between what a Data Analyst does and what a Business Analyst does. And what they look while hiring them. Know the difference between a business anayst and a data / BI analyst? 1. 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: - BA links data to business framing data questions for answering business questions  - DA drives the data, automations and visualizations behind it 2. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:  - BA aligns from a business point of view, ensuring business goals are delivered  - DA aligns from a data point of view, ensuring data pipelines are delivered to support 3. 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠:  - BA is responsible for mapping out data requirements needed to achieve a 3 year plan  - DA is responsible to develop and automate the different data schemas needed for visualizing the 3 year progress 4. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬:  - BA answers a question of "Whether company A should expand to city B based on current projections" - DA answers a question of "Can we automate the customer email threads for efficient customer responses" 5. 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐩𝐮𝐭 - In terms of output, Business Analysts deliver business requirement documentation and strategic recommendations. - Data Analysts deliver data reports & insight. Although People get confused often, at least in my experience, they are very different roles.
