#myjourneytoCEH #educ8africagamification #pythonscripting 🔍 Have you ever come across Tim Peters' "Zen of Python"? It's a adorable manifesto that helps Python programmers write code that is sophisticated, comprehensible, and easy to maintain. However, did you know that its wisdom goes well beyond programming? Allow me to share with you what I have personally discovered about how the Zen of Python permeates daily existence and enhances our path as programmers and people. 🎨 Clarity & Simplicity: Simplicity is a rare jewel in a world full of complications. Adopting a simple lifestyle promotes clarity in mind and behavior, much like in Python, where simplicity improves code readability and maintenance. Simplifying our objectives, activities, and relationships opens doors to increased productivity and tranquility. 💡 Clearly Is Better Than Implicit: Python promotes clarity over ambiguity by encouraging explicitness. In a similar vein, being honest and open with one another promotes trust and understanding in our day-to-day relationships. We build better relationships and promote an honest and respectful culture when we communicate honestly and directly. 🤝 Community & Collaboration: The dynamic Python community personifies the spirit of cooperation, where exchanging information and offering mutual support are essential values. Similar to this, having a strong support system around us in life encourages us, fosters our development, and pushes us to achieve new things. 🔧 Continuous Improvement: Supporting the concept of improving code with each iteration, Pythonistas aim to develop better code. Similar to this, having a growth mindset enables us to grow from our experiences, overcome obstacles, and become the best versions of ourselves in both our personal and professional efforts. Together, let's take this journey and embrace the Zen of Python as a philosophy for coding as well as a lighthouse that will lead us to a happier, more contented existence. Come along with me as we explore the potential of cooperation, clarity, simplicity, and constant development in both our daily experiences and our code. Let's collaborate to elegantly and purposefully design the code of our life! 🚀✨ Rahul Sharma Alexandra Boateng Newman Mortey Kennedy Sarpong ● Philip Gyimah Appiah Educ8Africa Ghana

Geek Talk Thursday: My Coding Journey In March this year, I embarked on my Python programming journey. If someone had told me then that I would become a full stack developer in just a few months, I probably would have looked at them like they had grown two heads. Well, maybe they did because here I am, now diving into advanced Python programming! I’m thrilled to share that my capstone project is a website where I wrote both the front end and backend code myself! It feels surreal to be able to understand and work with code at this level, integrating frameworks and libraries to build a professional, dynamic website that handles user interactions seamlessly. So, on this Geek Talk Thursday, I want to encourage anyone interested in learning to code to "just start." The journey isn't always smooth—there will be bumps along the way—but with consistency, it’s undoubtedly a worthwhile experience! Check out the website I’m working on for The Ghana Students Association in İstanbul, Türkiye - https://lnkd.in/ewqMSpid . I am incredibly privileged to be trusted with its development. As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to reach out or leave a comment below! #Python #Coding #Programming #Datascience

Beautiful Thursday!! I am grateful to have received formal training in object-oriented programming in python. I recall writing my first Python scripts at backend and frequently asking my supervisor, “What does this mean? What is that for?” The most intriguing part was that the answer was always the same: "Just let it be, Angelica. It’s simply how things are." Today, at Blossom Academy, I gained a much deeper understanding. I now comprehend the reasoning behind using camel case in class names and other key concepts. I truly appreciate the way our instructor Precious Darkwa explained everything in detail and encouraged us all to experiment on our own. Here’s a glimpse of one of my earliest Python scripts. It has since been upgraded and is now obsolete, so it’s safe to share publicly. Many backend developers will likely understand the context of safety here. I believe this is one of the key reasons why many backend teams are cautious about showcasing their work; the nature of their projects is highly sensitive. Once again, I'd say to Blossom Academy, Generation Ghana and Mastercard Foundation, THANK YOU!! #blossomacademy #generationghana #mastercardfoundation #dataanalytics #datascience #growcohortone

"Congratulations on unleashing your Python prowess through your new book! Your insights will ignite curiosity and empower countless minds to dive deeper into the world of coding. Here's to the beginning of an exciting journey for both you and your readers!"
Electrical/Electronics Engineer | Performance Analytics & Digital Marketing Helping Engineering Companies & Tech Startups gain actionable data insights and enhance online visibility.
In this video, I delve into a commonly asked question: What prompted you to write a beginner coding textbook? What inspired you? It was my struggle while studying Data Analytics with Python. After overcoming those challenges and achieving my certification, I realized that engineers and newcomers interested in venturing into Data Science without coding experience might face similar hurdles. So, I decided to simplify Python coding by integrating Nigerian context like the popular Lagos slang, “Eko Oni Baje”, references to great movies like "Isoken," and our favourite musicians like "Burna Boy" In codes. I aim to create a more relatable and enjoyable learning experience by doing so. This approach led to the birth of Daisy Tech Limited. Why do we target secondary school students? The answers to these questions are elaborated upon in the video, so I encourage you to watch the video. Happy viewing! DAY 50 of Python 100 Days of Code Yipee...I made it halfway. It was a journey of ups and downs to get this far. I still have 50 more days to go and I would like to state it explicitly here that this took me way more than 50 days. It's not been easy amidst the lessons at AltSchool Africa and my present job as a full-time Chemist but I choose to keep moving and finish what I started. It's not about how fast you go but how well. Don't give up just because you missed a couple of days or you missed a couple of classes. Please go ahead and finish what you started. I just unlocked a new energy level in myself. I will never forget a brilliant idea again, thanks to my idea storage system. Halfway there with Day 50 of #Replit100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfCode.
