We designed a contemporary villa complex in Ajman that is in keeping with the local culture by incorporating modern architectural elements with traditional Emirati influences. Here are some of the key design principles and features that were taken into consideration: ➡ Arches : Integrate arches and domes into the architectural design to reflect traditional Islamic architecture while adding a touch of grandeur. ➡ Local Materials: Use locally sourced materials such as stone and wood to maintain harmony with the environment and reduce carbon footprint. ➡ Neutral and Earthy Tones: opt for a color palette that includes neutral and earthy tones, reflecting the desert landscape and traditional aesthetics. ➡ Privacy Considerations: Ensure designs respect cultural norms around privacy, particularly for women, by strategically placing windows and creating private outdoor spaces. ➡ Modular Design: Use modular design elements that can be customized to accommodate extended family living, a common practice in Emirati culture.

Not many people know which is the twin titan of Dubai. It's called Emirates Tower, the global hub where business meets luxury. Living in Dubai, I've seen many impressive structures but here are 5 intricate details that a lot of people don't know about Emirates Tower that inspire me: 1. The floor plan of both towers has a triangle shape for a stable structure. It looks great and allows it to handle strong winds. 2. It was completed in just 52 months, which is unbelievable for a grand project. It proves Dubai's efficiency in construction. 3. The towers have a damping system to lower wind-induced movement and stay comfortable even at the highest floors. 4. The towers, despite their size, are environmentally friendly. They have reflective facades to reduce heat. A must-have in Dubai. 5. The complex also has a 3-story shopping center, 570,000+ sq meters of gardens, lakes, waterfalls, and parking for cars.
