Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has been a landmark for education for over 30 years. Its main objective is to foster excellence in science, technology, and maritime studies. Its headquarter is located in Alexandria, Egypt. According to the Arab Ranking for Universities (ARU), AASTMT ranked the ‘’Top Educational Institution’’ among the non-governmental universities in Egypt, the 10th among the Egyptian universities and the 22nd among the Arab Universities. Moreover,  It is a core advocate of the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC). The International Baccalaureate (IB) Global Conference in Daegu, Republic of Korea saw the signing of a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) to integrate IB programs into public and private schools across Korea. This partnership aims to enhance learning outcomes, provide holistic education, and offer professional development for teachers. 13 education experts from Lithuania representing the National Agency for Lithuania (Nacionalinė švietimo agentūra); Schools and Higher Education Institutions visited us part of a study visit to Norway in the frames of the Digital Transformation of Education (EdTech)" project.   At the core of the meeting was the introduction of EWC work in citizenship and human rights with a specific focus on digital citizenship and our digital products such as online courses and the pedagogic video game Oslo 2084. As education institutions across Europe focus on STEAM education we also encourage to consider how citizenship competences can be developed within this thematic focus so that learners can reflect critically on creation and use of new and existing technologies in the classrooms and in democratic communities

🚀 𝗜𝗖𝗣𝗖 𝗨𝘇𝗯𝗲𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 We are excited to announce that our university successfully participated in the ICPC Uzbekistan 2024 Qualification 🌟 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 💪 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: ✅ All 11 of our teams successfully navigated a registration process and competed fiercely in the qualification round! That was a first experience for the first-year students! 🌟 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: ✅ We are one of the top 5 universities in terms of representation among the 207 teams and 37 universities that participated across the country. This is a monumental achievement for our university! 👏 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙕𝙞𝙮𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙖: Massive shoutout to Ziyodulla Baykhanov for his relentless support and collaboration. His hard work ensured our teams were prepared and registered on time. Ziyodulla went above and beyond by sharing valuable recommendations, ideas, and suggestions that greatly benefited our teams. His motivational talks encouraged students to push their boundaries, think creatively, and work cohesively. His guidance was instrumental in navigating challenging problem sets and maintaining team morale during intense preparation sessions. 🚀 𝙄𝘾𝙋𝘾 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥: ✅ To help our students gear up for the competition, we held an ICPC Preparation Workshop. This session covered everything from contest strategy to team dynamics, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. 🙏 Big Thanks to Our University: ✅ We couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support from our IT Park University. Thank you for providing resources and encouragement every step of the way. This experience has been particularly beneficial for our first-year students. By participating in ICPC, they gained invaluable experience and insight, which will serve them well in future competitions.
