Dear Friends During Navratri in India, each day has a special color, and Day 5 is all about white, symbolizing peace, purity, and devotion. It reminds us to find calmness and a fresh start in our busy lives. In Angola, white is also significant, representing spirituality and peace. People wear white during ceremonies to connect with their spiritual side and show respect to their traditions. As we celebrate Navratri, the color white reminds us of how different cultures share similar values. Whether in India or Angola, white carries the message of peace, unity, and balance. ✨ जैसे भारत में Navratri में सफेद रंग शांति और पवित्रता का प्रतीक है, वैसे ही Angola में यह रंग आत्मिक शांति और एकता को दर्शाता है। ✨ #Navratri2024 #CulturalConnections #WhiteColor #IndiaAngola #PeaceAndPurity NEWACO GRUPO,SA Fresmart SANTOSH DIXIT ABHIJEET RANJAN Deepak Mishra Nand Kishor Gupta Kamlesh Kumar Bikash Gowala

TUAREG PEOPLE. The Tuareg People: Desert Nomads and Masters of the Sahara The Tuareg people, also known as the Kel Tamasheq, are a Berber ethnic group that inhabits the Sahara desert region of North Africa. For centuries, they have been a nomadic people, known for their mastery of the desert environment and their distinctive culture and traditions. The Tuareg are renowned for their unique style of dress, which includes indigo-dyed garments known as tagelmust, which men often wear to cover their faces. The Tuareg society is traditionally organized into clans and tribes, with a strong emphasis on kinship and honor. They are also known for their elaborate system of oral history, passed down through generations of storytellers known as iggawen. The Tuareg have long been involved in trans-Saharan trade, carrying goods such as salt, gold, and slaves across the desert on camel caravans. In recent decades, however, they have faced numerous challenges, including the encroachment of modern civilization and the effects of drought and desertification on their traditional way of life. Despite these challenges, the Tuareg people have retained much of their distinctive culture and traditions, including their unique language, Tamasheq, which is spoken by around 2 million people across the Sahara region. In recent years, the Tuareg have been at the center of a number of political and military conflicts, including the Tuareg rebellion in Mali in 2012 and ongoing tensions between Tuareg separatists and the governments of Mali, Niger, and other countries in the region.

𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮: 𝗔 𝗚𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 Eid in Russia is a beautiful tapestry of cultural richness and unity. With over 25 million Muslims calling Russia home, according to the grand mufti of Russia, Sheikh Rawil Gaynetdin, the Eid celebrations are nothing short of vibrant. Picture cities like Moscow and Kazan, alive with the spirit of Eid. Mosques are overflowing, and the air is filled with "Eid Mubarak" greetings. It’s a time for communal prayers, festive meals, and acts of charity—true reflections of the deep traditions of Russian Muslims. Now, think about celebrating Eid in the Maldives. It's a Muslim country, and the celebrations here are equally lively with island-wide prayers, feasts, traditional music and cultural activities. Despite the different settings, both Russia and the Maldives highlight the universal values of Eid—community, compassion, and celebration. In Russia, Eid isn't just a holiday; it's a bridge that connects diverse ethnic groups, fostering unity in a multicultural society. It's a testament to Russia's rich cultural tapestry and the enduring spirit of its Muslim population.

As we approach Dhul Hijjah, one of the four sacred months in the Islamic calendar, beginning on June 7th, 2024, it's important to understand how this period might impact your Muslim employees and colleagues. Dhul Hijjah brings immense spiritual rewards but also unique challenges for Muslim professionals. Many Muslims choose to fast during the first nine days, leading up to Eid al-Adha, which is celebrated for three days. Some may book annual leave to visit Saudi Arabia and perform the Hajj pilgrimage, which takes place between the 8th and 12th of Dhul Hijjah. However, the majority will likely take time off to celebrate Eid al-Adha with their families. Why should employers be aware of this? Understanding the significance of Dhul Hijjah is crucial for encouraging an inclusive workplace that respects and celebrates the cultural and religious identities of your team members. By acknowledging and accommodating these observances, you help create a supportive and understanding environment for all employees. Read more about Dhul Hijjah and tips on how to speak to your manager/organisation about the importance of this month and balancing spiritual and professional demands, here: https://lnkd.in/e7cpZYjc
