It is a time annually devoted to educating everyone about breast cancer—including metastatic breast cancer (MBC)—and the importance of early detection and access to timely, high-quality care. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we’d like to share a recent post from Epic's EpicShare. 🔍 Getting Back on Track with Breast Cancer Screenings! To support routine breast cancer screenings after the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Health Network and Froedtert Health implemented automated outreach campaigns—boosting response rates and saving valuable staff time. How They Did It: ✔Deployed automated campaigns to remind people due for mammograms ✔Sent notifications via MyChart or by mail ✔Included scheduling links to prompt immediate action 📈 The impact? Over 4,500 people received mammograms, leading to early identification of breast cancer in 27 individuals!
