How customers are deceived: I recently had a lively exchange with some members of a purchasing cooperative at a suppliers' day. It is important to know that we have been selling AGM lead-acid batteries from one manufacturer for several decades. We have trusted this manufacturer in terms of quality and pricing for more than 30 years. I was asked why we don't sell another manufacturer that offers something cheaper on the market. We could gain some new customers here if we sold at “low prices” like some online retailers, for example.  I then explained to the members that if we work together for a long time, trust will grow. Some customers who have switched to such a supplier have been bitterly punished for this in the past. They received cheap rechargeable batteries, but the actual contents of the cases were nothing like what was printed on them. So of course you can offer these price differences on the market and ultimately cheat your customers. The pictures clearly show that the accumulators were fitted with stone plates (to compensate for the weight) instead of high-quality lead plates. We supply our complete range of AGM lead-acid batteries without any complaints or problems worth mentioning.
