I'm finishing up Spider-Man (Insomniac Games) and was planning to play Spider-Man: Miles Morales next but I think I'm going to be finally playing Fallout 4 (Bethesda Game Studios) instead and hop on that #fallout hype train. The show was great, I slayed at Fallout 3 and NV, plus its always fun to participate in the zeitgeist. That is if I can stop playing Rumble Club (Lightfox Games, first release from Mad Mushroom) which has the perk of being mobile AND PC and a great excuse to spend more time on Twitch. Do you need to be an active gamer to be a video game voice actor? This is a question that has been on my mind lately. After discussing with Mitch Leschinski, I came to the conclusion that it's not necessary. While being part of the gaming community and playing games can certainly help, what's most important is being able to get into character and deliver believable dialogue. Unlike commercial or promo work, character acting doesn't necessarily require you to have a specific tone or read. What are your thoughts on this?
