A younger cousin, asked me something today, and it made me reflect on my journey! She asked: How did you get to know that you wanna do marketing? 🤔 How and when did I know? Marketing or any other domain is my calling? Was it in a dream, that the universe gave me a sign? Or did I always know I’d be a marketing girl? Or, was it something rather longer? It was a process! A slow & steady process. I worked, experimented, hustled, During my college years, interned at multiple places and profiles. Observed my seniors performing various tasks. Took up them, and executed things on my own! As I kept dwelling around, learning different skills, I somewhere found myself being inclined to marketing! And, I was good at it. Praised often. That’s how I found, Marketing was my IKIGAI 🚀 Follow Kashish, if you are looking forward to learning and explore in marketing field. #marketing #marketer #workexperience #learnings

Today, I will be talking about TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU. I know it sounds like Korean food but I promise you it's not. Lol These 3 abbreviations are used to describe customers' funnel. TOFU means "Top of the Funnel". It's the largest funnel and it consists of people that do not know anything about your brand. The fact that everyone loves to wear clothes does not mean they will buy from you; the fact that you sell foods that are a necessity for humans does not mean people will patronise you. Why is this so? This is because they don't know about you or what your business can offer them. What you need to do at the top of the funnel is to create awareness. You don't need to try to convert them into buying customers yet. Let them know you exist. Create a community to keep them engaged and aware. You can offer them free ebooks, videos, guides, etc. You can also create content around your brand to create awareness. Your content could either be blog posts, social media posts, etc. TOFU's main purpose is to create awareness and generate leads. MOFU (Middle of Funnel): People at this stage are known as leads. They are already showing interest in your business. They start to inquire about your business, check your social media pages and websites, and try to get reviews about your products/services. MOFU's main purpose is to generate prospects. You can offer them free samples, giveaways, educational content, webinars, emails, quizzes and surveys, etc BOFU (Bottom of Funnel): This is the last stage of the funnel. This is when the leads turn into customers. They've patronised you. This is the time for you to treat them well and this is when having good customer service comes into play. Your products and the way you attend to them will determine if they are going to patronise you again or refer their friends and family to you. BOFU's main purpose is to generate sales. You can do this by offering them free trials, consultations, coupons, demos, customer stories, etc. Hope I've added to your knowledge of Marketing. #marketing #digitalmarketing #socialmediamarketing #internship #agency #socialmediamanagement

This is a repost from Sabahat Ayub Marketing Specialist|| Digital Marketing||Online marketing|| AffiliateMarketing| Let's connect and grow together| Adobe stock It correlates closely with a post I put out a short time ago about how in winning organizations - Accountability exceeds Responsibility. Great post! _Spreading Kindness in the Workplace_ 🌟 "No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted." - Aesop 🙏 "Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world." - Howard Zinn 🌎 Every small act of kindness creates a ripple of positive change. Here are 5 simple ways to serve others at work: 1. _Offer a Helping Hand_ 🤝 Assist coworkers struggling with tasks or projects. Lend a hand to lighten the load and alleviate stress. 2. _Share Your Knowledge_ 📚 Share resources and expertise to help others grow their skills and knowledge. 3. _Listen and Support_ 👂 Sometimes, all someone needs is an open ear and supportive voice. Listen and offer encouragement. 4. _Express Gratitude_ 🙏 Acknowledge colleagues' hard work and contributions. A simple "thank you" can go a long way. 5. _Be Quick to Forgive_ ❤️ Let go of resentment and anger. Focus on understanding others' perspectives and finding solutions. hashtag #SpreadTheMessage hashtag #Leadership hashtag #Inspiration hashtag #Gratitude hashtag #Teamwork hashtag #Empowerment hashtag #Support hashtag #KindnessMatters hashtag #WorkplaceCulture hashtag #PositiveVibes hashtag #LinkedInGrowth hashtag #LinkedInForCreators Repost to inspire others and create a ripple of kindness! 🌊Ayub

Awareness or Sensationalism!? I often wonder what goes through people’s minds when executing certain marketing strategies. The recent actions by Poonam and YesMadam’s team have left me questioning the approach—and honestly, I don’t see much difference between the two. Yes, creating buzz and becoming the "talk of the town" is a valid marketing strategy. But when the subject is a sensitive or delicate issue, such stunts cross the line. In my opinion, these tactics should never be supported. We live in an era where some of the brightest minds in marketing and content creation exist. There are countless ways to raise awareness while being thoughtful, impactful, and respectful. These approaches not only draw attention but also inspire change without causing unnecessary distress. While Poonam and YesMadam may have had good intentions, the execution seems to have done more harm than good. Instead of uniting people around the issue, it has divided opinions. Some are calling it out as inappropriate, while others defend it with the mindset, "any marketing is good marketing as long as you're in the news." Frankly, this perspective disappoints me. Awareness campaigns should provide hope and support to those directly affected by the issue. They should lift people up, not trigger trauma or negativity in the name of "creating awareness." Let’s challenge ourselves to think deeper and act with empathy. After all, the goal of awareness should be to heal, inspire, and uplift—not sensationalize. #marketing #stress #pressure #trauma #awareness #heal #inspire #yesmadam #poonam #negative #positive #trend #strategies Copy right: Copyright of the image belongs to Prudent Media Goa Pvt Ltd and Google.
