How does the carbon footprint of different packaging solutions compare? With stretch wrap technology, the elasticity of the film does all of the work to create a robust and secure pack for distribution. There's no need for expensive heat wrap systems and cardboard trays can often be dispensed of too. Stretch wrapping also enables thinner films to be used, such as polyolefin with 30% recycled content, biodegradable films, or compostable films. And because you’re using less of everything, not only will it cost less, but your carbon footprint will be vastly reduced too.
