Do you have concerns about condenser mics on a live stage? One of the biggest fears among live engineers is to use condenser mics for high sound pressure level sound sources. They are afraid of distortion or even clipping. The fear is understandable, but only on some condenser microphones and primarily large diaphragm types. Our 4011 Cardioid Microphone, which is among the standard inventory in recording studios and PA/live companies all over the world, can handle 159 dB before clipping! Is there a convincing reason why AirPods Max weren’t designed to be usable as a USB Audio device over a wired connection? According to the Internet, the USB-C version doesn’t even support analog audio input like the Lightning version did?
