This is day four of running my video editing business. Today we have 15 short form videos to edit. I'm going to show you how I get all of those done. First thing I do is ensure my energy is filled. I did a cheeky morning run and some stretches because I know I'll be on the desk for about 5 to 6 hours. Now the question is how do I edit 15 videos in a day? And the answer is I don't because that is a stupidly ridiculous amount of videos to edit all by yourself. And it's not healthy either because you're prone to burnout and that can literally affect the rest of your week. So instead I pass fire short form videos to one editor and five to another editor that I'm training. You are doing the repetitive tasks like captions, cut strains and spellings while I work on five videos of my high end clients. Once my editors videos were done, I ticked them off, check for any revisions, and sent them off to the clients who were really happy.
