As part of Stoneville and FiberMax’s 2024 lineup, this technology allows growers to test new cotton varieties while waiting for EPA approval of a new herbicide formulation. The results? Growers have been impressed with the performance across multiple geographies, using herbicides like glyphosate, glufosinate, and dicamba on these new varieties. The hope is that, with the full approval of the HPPD herbicide in 2025, the system will offer better control over weeds like pigweed while promoting sustainable, pre-emerge applications. Looking ahead, BASF is phasing out older technologies and focusing on these advanced varieties for a more sustainable future. This is good news. In Pure Salmon Technology we know that waterborne feeding is the right way forward for landbased, and will have positive contributions to FCR, cost and fish welfare. Our waterborne HyFlow technology works excellent with traditional feeds but no doubt that feed with higher water stability will make waterborne feeding in landbased even more attractive.
