SXSW 2025 Speaker! 🎙️ LinkedIn Local ATL Co-Host 🔥 Partnership Consultant 💸 Networking Coach ✅ Community Expert 😎 The Zero to One Networker 🚀 | Helping you SCALE your ULTIMATE network. 💥
Networks are about VALUE CREATION and COMMUNITY. 🙌
That's why I had so much fun speaking to the new cohort at Atlanta Tech Village yesterday! 🎙
As always, super grateful to Brandon Winfield for inviting me to drop by.
But this is what I wanted to underscore to those founders:
At some point, the cohort program ends.
Don't let that be the end of your networking!
Don't lose that momentum! 🚀
The people who truly master relationship-building are focused on the long-term.
Come back to the community and continue to add value for others.
That is one of the best ways to really stand out and grow a positive reputation. 🌱
And that reputational value creation is key to building the ACCESS you want for your company.
Most people don't have the patience to learn how to create this access -- I'll show you how. 🔥
Excited for the next experience at ATV.
Damn I love the Atlanta founder community. 😎

Networking has never been my favorite, but yesterday I realized I had it quite wrong. As Adam Marx put it: Networking is about supporting the people you meet. 💡 This really resonates with me, as I've always enjoyed helping others. Thank you for changing my perspective! 🙃

Networking events can have you feeling drained after a couple of shallow conversations...
Communities on the other hand can empower you, here's why:
1️⃣ Real talk over small talk: In a community, you can have real, meaningful talks with people who get it. No more awkward elevator pitches or forced connections.
2️⃣ Support over self-promotion: In communities, you can share your struggles, get guidance, and find encouragement from people who genuinely care. No more competition or fake smiles.
3️⃣ Growth over Glamour: Communities are where the real growth happens. You can learn from others, get feedback, and stay motivated over time. No more one-and-done networking events that fizzle out. Our community is where you can build real relationships and achieve your goals.

Had a fantastic time at a roundtable event organized by Steve Chiama! It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with fellow founders in the DMV area. 👏
Sharing experiences, both the triumphs and challenges, is invaluable. Every conversation is an opportunity to grow and learn.
A big shoutout 📣 to Chelsey Hayes, Ronald Klatt, marissa misner, TAREK EL-ASHRY, MBA for their insightful contributions.
The learnings and connections made will be immediately implemented in my venture. Can't wait to see the results!
Question for the Community:
What's the best piece of advice or knowledge you've gotten from a networking event?
Share your insights in the comments below ⬇
You are on a mission to do big things - I know that. And I’ve been quietly building a project called Arena Hall that I hope could serve you in that mission.
The site and story launch today. Link here: www.arenahall.com
Imagine a place to work, have drinks, meet world leaders and extraordinary founders… where you connect with old friends and find new ones… a community that embodies the question “how can I help?”... and one that puts you to work in your superpower.
It’s our answer to the question: how do we get more Americans to build and scale solutions to our biggest problems? 🇺🇸📈🚀
We built a campus in Austin, TX, and hosted a few hundred events. We learned from experts, pitched projects, collaborated on companies and initiatives. The best part? We became friends and inspired each other to deeper levels of flourishing.
If you live in Austin or will be visiting, we’d love for you to come by–enjoy coffee and wifi under the pecan trees or be part of one of our events.
Events are live. Membership will launch this fall. DM me for more info.

Impact isn’t just created by what you do. Sustainable impact and influence is directly connected to who you are - your identity.
I can remember when I was wrestling internally with the decision to write a book about career grief, and I almost let Thrive Through It sit on the cloud and opt for a more cookie cutter leadership book.
Fear almost won because I wasn’t sure how people would take a professional development message about grief. I wasn’t sure if I’d sell bulk copies of a book that challenged the status quo of what it means to be resilient. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to publicly bare the head, heart and guts journey of one of my deepest losses - the death of my mother - and how it impacted my corporate leadership journey.
I’m so grateful I didn’t let fear win. Everytime I see a leader like Kristin Hinkley that’s read and gleaned from my transparent words, it’s a reminder to keep going!
Wondering if Thrive Through It is a good book to gift your team? Check out the description below and the course based on the book (Thriving Through Career Challenges) on LinkedIn Learning:
In "Thrive Through It," Brittany N. Cole shares a profound exploration of grief beyond the confines of death, addressing the universal yet often unspoken hardships that permeate our professional and personal lives.
This book offers a transformative approach to understanding and harnessing the power of grief, turning profound losses into opportunities for growth and redefined resilience.
Drawing from her career journey and extensive experience as a leadership coach, Cole provides actionable insights and strategies to cultivate resilience, communicate with empathy, and foster genuine allyship.
Readers are guided on a journey to redefine resilience, learning not just to recover but to thrive through career and leadership change, challenges and adversity.
This book is an essential roadmap for anyone looking to navigate the complexities of loss with courage and purpose, encouraging them to emerge stronger and more connected to their authentic selves.
Available on Amazon, Audible and wherever books are sold.

Last week I attended an in-person networking event every single day of Philly Tech Week. Most of the events were open-ended, allowing any and all topics to flow through. It was great - but a little overwhelming.
As a fan of book clubs, discussion groups, Slack channels and Discords, I got to thinking about how new networking relationships can be better sustained through more targeted and intentional interactions. I also started thinking about how I can better pass back knowledge gained over the past few months to my local Design and Tech community.
I have a new goal to create an open call for Philly or NYC-based Seniors, Leads or Managers in Product or Design to grab coffee in exchange for an industry-related book. The goal is to have a coffee chat about lessons learned in the book, and continue the conversation throughout the duration of its read. My goal is to build meaningful connection and put some great resources back into the community.
The first book I’d like to pass on is “Thrive Through It” by Brittany N. Cole. I originally obtained this book through a WICT event late last year. To be considered, please direct message me 1 paragraph about how you’ve embraced resiliency in your career. Even if you don’t get the book, I’ll probably still ask you to coffee 😀. We’ll pass the book on when we’re done!
If you can’t direct message me, please email kristinhinkley127@gmail.com
Hope to chat soon!
Thrive Through It will help you:
- Elevate your emotional intelligence as you journey through change and loss
- Communicate through differences and difficult decisions to build connection
- Practice empathy as an ally and advocate for others
- Remove your cape and mask to take up space and allow yourself to be seen

I’m beyond excited to share something that’s been in the works since 2020—the Networking Success Pack (NSP)! What started as my personal system to streamline my networking and create meaningful introductions has evolved into something much bigger. After receiving so many compliments on my networking approach, I realized this could help other relationship-focused professionals grow their businesses too.
Now, I’m thrilled to be building a digital course and the "Community Givers" group—a space designed for professionals who believe in the power of giving and contributing to each other’s success. This isn’t just about tools or strategies; it’s about creating a movement where collaboration and connection thrive.
I’m so grateful to have already presold the NSP to a handful of amazing people, but I won’t settle for anything less than 100% before I officially launch. I can’t wait to share this with those who value genuine, relationship-first networking partnerships.
If this resonates with you, drop a comment or share what excites you most about building a community of givers. Let’s grow together! 💬✨

Hello, Link Up Society Community!
I’m excited to share a bit about why I started this platform and what drives our mission every day.
Why Link Up Society?
- As a professional navigating various networking platforms, I noticed a recurring issue: many platforms were either prohibitively expensive or lacked the essential tools for genuine connection. Networking should be about building relationships, not just about collecting contacts. I wanted to create a space where professionals could not only connect but truly collaborate and grow together.
What Makes Us Different?
- At Link Up Society, we prioritize affordability and functionality. We’ve built a backend that facilitates real connections—enabling users to communicate, collaborate, and form partnerships directly within our platform. This isn’t just another networking site; it’s a community where your growth is our success.
Join Us on This Journey I’m passionate about fostering a space where everyone has the tools and opportunities they need to succeed, without the barriers that often hold people back. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a professional looking to expand your network, or someone seeking meaningful connections, Link Up Society is here for you.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we can redefine what it means to network.

Now it’s time to act.
The energy at our last H-Town Handshakes event was tremendous.
https://lnkd.in/gCMgnDa5
Over 40 incredible people showed up, and every single one of you made it a powerhouse event. But that was just the beginning.
If you haven’t followed up with the connections you made, do it today.
A simple “How can I help you?” goes a long way—it’s how deals are made, opportunities created, and partnerships formed.
Here’s the truth:
Your network will get you to the next level, but only if you nurture it.
Great conversations don’t mean anything if they just sit there. Be the person people remember. Add value. Follow up and show you’re serious. These relationships can take you places you never imagined.
But you’ve got to act now.
I’m proud to have every one of you in my network. Together, we’ll make things happen—big things. And the next event? It’s happening November 14th.
It’s going to be bigger, better, and bolder. Mark your calendar.
You need to be there.
Show up ready to connect, collaborate, and crush it.
We’re also focused on building referral partnerships with business owners who are serious about growth. If that sounds like you—and I know it does—let’s talk.
Big opportunities come to those ready to think big.
Let’s keep the momentum going. We’ve got what it takes, and now’s the time to make it happen.
It all starts with you—right now.
See you on November 14th. Be ready.

🌟 Thrilled by Another Amazing Networking Session! 🌟
We just hosted our second networking session of the month, and once again, the turnout exceeded all expectations! 🎉
We were excited to see so many individuals coming together, selflessly share their journeys, and spark engaging, fruitful conversations with each other.
A special shoutout to the founders of Find 'X', who joined our platform to share their story and the incredible work they’re doing. The sharing and insights have added so much value in this community.
Quick recap on the 3 key takeaways:
1️⃣ The power of vulnerability: Successes and challenges were shared, but one factor remained constant is that proving that being open can lead to deeper connections and mutual support.
2️⃣ Opportunities are everywhere: Through the right questions and meaningful conversations, there are indeed new collaborations that could be explored deeper before it takes shape and form.
3️⃣ Giving back is key: To give, makes you a richer individual than to receive.
If you missed this session, don’t worry—we’d love to see you at the next one! Whether you want to learn, connect, or share your story, there’s a place for you here. 💬
