Had a fantastic time at a roundtable event organized by Steve Chiama! Impact isn’t just created by what you do. Sustainable impact and influence is directly connected to who you are - your identity. I can remember when I was wrestling internally with the decision to write a book about career grief, and I almost let Thrive Through It sit on the cloud and opt for a more cookie cutter leadership book. Fear almost won because I wasn’t sure how people would take a professional development message about grief.
