3D printing straddles the line between art and science, attracting both engineers and artists. It’s a medium where creative design meets precise engineering. In clinical engineering, we apply a similar blend of aesthetics and analysis to human anatomy. Morphometry describes a quantification of the form, helping us computationally discern typical from atypical, identify morphologically-based anatomical landmarks, and inform tailored treatments and surgical planning. #morphometry #form #art #computation #bones
