Shouro Dasgupta, PhD, a scientist at the CMCC Foundation, has been selected to join a group of 78 international experts working under the UAE–Belém work programme, part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This team has been tasked with developing and refining indicators that measure progress towards the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA), which focuses on improving climate resilience around the world. PAP/RAC - UNEP/MAP's side event on #coastal adaptation in the #Mediterranean will contribute to this key objective. We will showcase the preparation of coastal plans in Morocco and Montenegro, in addition to efforts in Tunisia, Croatia, and the Mediterranean basin. Particular emphasis will be placed on strategic coastal planning, governance and access to climate financing.
