Through the agreement, industry-benchmark wireless power efficiencies are achieved by combining AWL-E’s inventive MHz resonant capacitive coupling power transfer system with Infineon’s state-of-the-art gallium nitride (GaN) technology. The GaN transistor technology(CoolGaN GS61008P) from Infineon operates at the greatest switching frequencies and provides the maximum efficiency and power density.

🔋 #BatteryTech Updates: Volkswagen and QuantumScape have entered into an agreement to produce #solidstatebatteries, with the aim of integrating this advanced technology into more electric vehicles. Volkswagen's battery unit, PowerCo, will be licensed to mass-produce #batterycells using QuantumScape's technology, contingent on technological advancements and royalty payments. This agreement replaces a previous joint venture between the companies. #Volkswagen, which holds a 17% stake in #QuantumScape worth $459 million, can manufacture up to 40 GWh per year, potentially expanding to 80 GWh, enough to equip around one million vehicles annually.
