Powering everything that moves! We will be exhibiting at CWIEME in Berlin from 14th to 16th May: as the number of electric vehicles on the road increases, so does the demand for electric drives in many other industries. We are developing solutions for the automotive, heavy-duty and railway, racing, motorsport and aerospace industries. This not only enables more sustainable drives, but also more efficient solutions for the highest demands. In the world of electric drives, we are setting new standards. To achieve the highest power densities, unrivalled efficiencies and longest lifetimes, we rely on innovative manufacturing processes and insulation methods that go beyond the catalogue. Curious? Come and see us at Stand 32F42 in Berlin, visit www.additive-drives.de or contact Philipp Arnold. ___ #electricmotor #emotor #electrification #emobility #electricflight #evtol #technology #development #blogging #3dprinting #highefficient #additivemanufacturing #highperformance #simplifyelectrification

EDAG Group and INCHRON - think real-time are joining forces! We are thrilled to announce our partnership with EDAG Group to tackle the challenges of latency and timing in Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). Our combined strengths: - EDAG: Comprehensive know-how in EE architecture and vehicle development - INCHRON: Industry-leading expertise in timing simulation and event- chain analysis Our approach involves timing simulation at three stages during project development: - Early Design Validation: Defining realistic event-chain timing requirements that suppliers can reliably meet. - Simulation using field data from test vehicles to ensure event-chain timing requirements are met and identifying corrective actions if deviations occur. - Data-Driven Decision Making: Enabling smarter design choices through insights based on event chain engineering. Together, we are committed to ensuring that every real-time function – from braking systems to advanced driver-assistance features – operates reliably and efficiently. By achieving precise timing, we offer a critical tool to manage the growing complexity in vehicle development and set new standards for system integrity in the automotive industry. The partnership was celebrated in the photo, from right to left: Andreas Hecker, Vice President E/E Systems Engineering at EDAG, and Dr. Ralf Münzenberger, CEO and co-founder of INCHRON. ⚡ Electric Vehicles: A revolution of the past, now a part of our everyday life ⚡ Electric vehicles were a groundbreaking innovation in the early 20th century. Ferdinand Porsche's Lohner-Porsche project from 1900 was revolutionary, with hub motors integrated into the wheels, making electricity in automotive technology something truly novel. At that time, electricity in vehicles was considered a real revolution Today, although electricity in automotive technology plays an increasingly important role, electric vehicles are no longer what they once were – a groundbreaking innovation. They have become a natural part of the automotive market, and their presence in daily life no longer causes the same surprise as it did at the beginning of the 20th century🚗🔋 #ElectricVehicles #Innovation #FerdinandPorsche #AutomotiveHistory #AutomotiveIndustry https://lnkd.in/dMxD5FRn

Ferdinand Porsche’s first invention ⚡️ On April 14, 1900, a revolutionary electric car, based on the Lohner-Porsche system, made its debut at the Paris Exposition’s Palace of Electricity. This marked the beginning of the Porsche legacy and brought global recognition to a 24-year-old Ferdinand Porsche. Working for Jacob Lohner & Co. in Vienna, Porsche designed and developed an electric vehicle in just ten weeks, featuring wheel-hub motors integrated into the front wheels. Each motor delivered 2.5 hp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 32 km/h. Notably, the Lohner-Porsche was one of the first vehicles to feature simultaneous braking on all four wheels, a true milestone in automotive engineering for 1900. This innovation not only demonstrated Porsche's technical brilliance, but also his ability to creatively optimise existing solutions and push boundaries in the automotive industry. A testament to Porsche’s early vision of efficiency and performance, this project laid the foundation for the future of automotive design. #porsche #electriccar #electricvehicle #ev #innovation #netzero #sustainability
