Adelaide School of Public Health’s Post

2024 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐒𝐘𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐔𝐌 Adelaide School of Public Health #AnnualResearchSymposium was held on 11 December. It was a resounding success, with staff and students from across the school and broader Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Adelaide, sharing their work on a day of collaboration and networking. The day was concluded with awards presented by the #HeadofSchool, Professor Tracy Merlin. The Professor Tony McMichael Memorial Prize Recipient: Hiruni Madusha Dasanayaka Kuruppu Arachchilage With generous support from Prof Tony McMichael’s wife, Associate Professor Judith Healy, the Adelaide School of Public Health established the annual Professor Tony McMichael Memorial Prize in 2015 for outstanding achievement by a student completing the Master of Public Health (#MPH). The Thomas L Borthwick Memorial Prize Recipient: Linh Truc Nguyen This prize is awarded to the candidate with the highest overall mark in the Infectious Disease Epidemiology course.
