🌱 Exciting Milestone: Our First Carbon Cockpit Scan! 🌱 We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our first Carbon Cockpit scan with D-Carbonize in collaboration with INVESTSUD as a proud member of their network of startups. This milestone marks a significant step in our journey towards sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our comprehensive scan revealed a total carbon emission of 78.54 tCO2e, with an average of around 9.6 tCO2e per employee, in the low range of service companies. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, detailed insights into carbon footprints, empowering businesses to make informed decisions and drive positive change. Thanks to the effort and the platform, We already identified more than 20% of carbon eq. to reduce makeing our decisions this year. The representatives of the startups of Batch 6 are here! And we couldn't be more excited. Not only are we confident that there will be many collaborations with our industry partners, but we are also looking forward to spending the next two months working with so many passionate and positive people from all over the world, coming from Chile, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Iran, Egypt and various European countries. And the first day was already packed with action: After an introductory session and getting to know each other, the program kicked off with Prateek M., who not only inspired everyone with the success story of how his startup BIOWEG , which was part of Batch 2, went on to work with big companies like Bayer, but also gave valuable tips to the new startups. The young entrepreneurs then took an in-depth look at their respective business models in a workshop by Bas Roelofs of CIRCO on the topic of circular design. This was followed by an exchange with a number of Nigerian startups who were visiting Circular Valley. (More on this later). To round things off, all participants enjoyed a dinner together.
