In early 2023, at age 33, I received my ADHD diagnosis after my psychiatrist quickly identified me as a "textbook case." This brought a profound sense of relief, yet also a deep mourning for the 32 years of my life that might have unfolded differently had I been diagnosed in childhood. I am still at the beginning of my journey, but moving forward, I hope to truly discover myself and reach the inner happiness I’ve always longed for yet never quite known how to attain.
In true ADHD form, I’m sharing this at the end of ADHD Awareness Month 😅 — but it’s never too late to educate and support others on their journey.
