Is your feed filled with tips and lists of questions to reflect on this past year—just like mine? Does it all feel a bit overwhelming? I started clicking one link after another, diving into reflection prompts, and then I stopped myself. I realized I was simply browsing, not actually doing anything. So, I closed all my browser tabs, opened a blank Google Doc, and started typing. Then, I called a close friend who knows my business well. That 30-minute chat gave me more clarity and confidence about the direction of my business than hours of scrolling through tempting links and long blog posts ever could. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking on the great content out there. Some of those posts are truly insightful—I’ve saved them for later!) And here’s what I decided to do: I’m not going to add to the noise. I won’t post yet another list of reflection questions or tips for growing your business in 2025. Instead, if you’re feeling stuck—wading through blog posts, templates, and assessments—and want to have an actual conversation about what went well in your business this year and where to focus for growth next year, let’s chat. I’m opening up a few slots for free 1:1 strategy calls. You can find a time that works for you here: https://lnkd.in/eDTKsC8a When you book, let me know the top three questions you’re struggling with in your business. We’ll spend our time diving into them together. Book a call, close those 50 browser tabs, and take some of the stress off. Talk soon!

I’m not a fortune teller. However, I can predict whether a business going to fail soon. It takes only one phrase that I hear from its product and marketing team. “We don’t have capacity to run research”. Sounds familiar? Spoiler: None of us have extra time nor money. But even 30 minutes – an hour if you can spare it – can make all the difference. 1️⃣ If you don’t spend time talking to customers... ↳ It’s hard to truly understand their needs. 2️⃣ If you don’t document what you learn... ↳ Your team might miss valuable insights. 3️⃣ If you don’t test your assumptions... ↳ It’s easy to lose touch with what actually works. Here’s the good news: you don’t need a big budget or a full research team to make an impact. In just 1-2 hours a week, you can: ✔️ Talk to a few customers. ✔️ Ask thoughtful, open-ended questions. ✔️ Share your findings with your team to guide decisions. Start with regularly asking your customers these simple questions: ➡️ What are you trying to achieve within our product? ➡️ What made you prioritize solving this problem now? ➡️ What’s stopping you from moving forward with using our product? ➡️ What would make this product an easy choice? Just 4 questions. That’s what it takes to start seeing the first results very soon. Market sensing doesn’t have to be complicated. A little time spent listening to your customers can lead to big insights. Do you have a dedicated time for research each week? If not, what’s holding you back? Let’s discuss 👇 ♻️ Repost this to share these practical tips with your network!

Founders and execs: you're addicted to problems. Let me explain... When you started the business, you had no choice but to tackle each and every problem swiftly. No matter what came your way, you took it head-on without hesitation. I mean, why wouldn't you? Your survival depended on it. But now that you have a real company—a team of people serving more clients than you've ever had—you must break this pattern. It's hard to do, however—it's much like an addiction. If you don't break this pattern, you will become the limiting factor in your firm's growth. Instead, you must level-up your approach to growing the firm. The next level requires that you master the process of planning and management, done in a way that engages your entire team where your ideas, your "brute force" are no longer the winning factors. If you'd like to learn how to do this with your firm, let's connect—helping founders and leaders take their firms to the next level is what I love to do! ===================================== - Follow me Frank Cowell for daily growth tips - Please repost for your network ♻️ - Join my free newsletter - Check out my content partner AgencyAnalytics !

#TipTuesday: Don’t Get Sidetracked by Research 📚 Don’t use research as a crutch to avoid making a decision you’re unsure about. Here are three tips to keep you moving forward without getting stuck in the research rabbit hole: Set Specific Research Goals and Deadlines: Decide on a goal for your research and how much time you will spend doing it. For example, if you're exploring tech solutions, limit yourself to reviewing three recommended platforms before making a decision. Implement Action Blocks: Block specific times in your schedule for research and taking action on what you learn. Now, you’re gathering information and applying it without the delay caused by overthinking. Trust in Your Initial Branding: Trust in the decisions you made in your initial branding work. Remember the unique value you provide to your clients. Keep your focus on your own goals and strengths. Comparison is the root of unhappiness. Action, not research, puts you in the driver's seat and creates progress. You know what amazes me? The incredible variety of business owners I get to work with daily. Each one brings such unique perspectives and success stories. I find myself constantly fascinated by how different service-based businesses support their clients. Maybe it's because I love asking questions (okay, lots of questions!) and really digging into what makes each business tick. Here's something that keeps striking me - many brilliant business owners are almost too humble about their expertise. Unless specifically asked, they rarely share what makes their service exceptional. Let's be honest - yes, technically anyone *could* do what you do. But here's the thing: they can't do it like YOU. They don't have: • Your deep understanding of today's market • Those countless lessons learned from years of experience • Your ability to make those subtle-yet-crucial adjustments that make all the difference So here's my challenge to you: Share your knowledge. Tell us about your industry's current challenges. Show us those clever solutions you've discovered. Explain how policy changes affect your daily operations. You've got all these platforms at your disposal - your website, social media, email lists, professional networks. But I get it - finding time to share all this expertise? That's the real challenge, isn't it? I'm curious - what's holding you back from sharing your story? Time? Maybe uncertainty about where to start? Let's chat about it in the comments 👇 #BusinessInsights #ExpertiseMatters #UKBusiness

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗬 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗟? Original Content Creator: Marc Sniukas (Give him a follow) ---------- There are 100s of strategy tools. And it can be overwhelming to know when to use which. The result: Most people either only use the one tool they are familiar with. Or they don’t use any at all. Or they do every kind of analysis in the book. Luckily, that’s not necessary. If you think about strategy as the response to the challenges that keep you from reaching your ambitions… …the first step is to understand the challenges you’re facing. And to only focus on those (no need to analyze everything under the sun!) ⎯ This map provides some orientation on when to use which tool for strategic analysis. 👇 1. Pick the area the challenge relates to: Strategy, Revenue, or Cost 2. Pick the sub-area that feels most appropriate 3. Start with 1 tool to gain a deeper understanding of the challenge Only use more tools if needed to understand the challenge still better. Don't overcomplicate it. ---------- ♻ 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 to share with your network ♻

"An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied." – Arnold Glasow Every business owner has had that moment: a brilliant idea pops into your head, and you think, “I’ll get to that later.” But days turn into weeks, and that idea stays right where it started—untouched. Here’s the truth: great ideas don’t change the world—action does. I worked with a business owner who wanted to start an email newsletter but kept holding off because they were waiting for it to be perfect. After some encouragement, they decided to launch with just the basics: valuable tips their audience could use right away. In less than 30 days, they gained 150 subscribers and three new clients. The lesson? Your audience isn’t looking for perfect—they’re looking for value. Progress beats perfection every time. What’s one idea you’ve been putting off? How can you take one small step toward it today? Let’s discuss this in the comments.

Mission-Led Businesses are focused on ONE specific problem that they want to help solve. That doesn't mean that they ignore interrelated problems. That doesn’t mean they don't create positive impact in other areas. It means they know what their priority is. They realise they can’t do everything, but they can try to really change something. And the more specific the problem, the more: - Their strategy becomes clear - Their teams know how to make decisions - Their message cuts through to their customers But how do you choose just one problem? There’s a process to it. And part of that process is identifying the right kind of problems in the first place. Ones that you feel connected to. That are relevant to you, to your skills, and to your business. To help you get started, here’s a few of the questions I ask my clients: - What are your strongest opinions about how your industry should change? - What are the negative social and environmental impacts of your industry? - What are the negative social and environmental impacts of the products or services you sell? Once you've answered them, you'll have a list of relevant problems that you can start to explore. What do you think about focusing on one problem? --------------------------------------- If you want to see more posts about Mission-Led Business and how to become one visit my profile, follow me and click the bell 🔔 And if you want to learn more about my process to help you articulate your problem to solve, message me and let’s have a chat.

Do the Unscalable: How small businesses can use size to their advantage I’ve seen a few posts about taking advantage of the unscalable and it’s something I’ve always believed can give small businesses a unique edge—they can do what the big guys can’t: the unscalable. 🌟 Be Unforgettably Personal Big brands may have the resources, but they often lack the human touch. As a small business, you can: * Write handwritten thank-you notes to customers. * Reply to every comment or message personally (even on ads!) * Customise your service in ways that make people feel truly seen. 🚀 Move Fast, Stay Nimble Corporate giants can take months to make decisions. You? You can pivot in days—or even hours. Use your agility to: * Jump on trends before they peak. * Test new ideas quickly and adjust based on feedback. * Respond immediately to customer needs or market shifts. ❤️ Build Community, Not Just Customers Your size allows you to form deeper relationships with your audience. Host events, share behind-the-scenes content, or support causes that resonate with your customers. When people feel connected to your mission, they’ll choose you over a faceless competitor every time. Lean into your size and outsmart, rather than outspend, your competition. Doing the unscalable might be seen as “inefficient”— but it can also be strategic.

"If you don't separate yourself from distractions, your distractions will separate you from your GOALS" is a powerful reminder about the importance of focus and discipline. When building a digital business for passive income, your time and energy are crucial assets. The goal of passive income is to set up systems that generate consistent revenue with minimal ongoing effort. However, getting to that point requires upfront investment of focus, planning, and execution. Distractions—whether from social media, personal obligations, or constant interruptions—can steal the valuable time you need to build and scale your business. Here’s how distractions can pull you away from financial success: 1. Loss of Productivity: Distractions reduce your productivity, slowing down the process of setting up your business systems, marketing funnels, and automations necessary for passive income streams to flow. 2. Scattered Efforts: In the digital business world, you need consistent efforts to build trust, create valuable content, and attract an audience. When distractions take your attention away, your efforts become scattered and less impactful, stalling growth. 3. Missed Opportunities: The digital landscape changes rapidly, and if you're distracted, you might miss key opportunities, whether it’s launching a product at the right time, tapping into a trend, or networking with the right people. 4. Diluted Vision: Distractions can also lead you to lose sight of your bigger vision and long-term goals. Without clear focus, it’s easy to drift into activities that feel productive but don’t actually move you closer to financial success. To succeed in a digital business and realize the dream of financial freedom through passive income, you must eliminate distractions and stay laser-focused on your goals. By doing so, you’ll efficiently set up the systems and strategies that will sustain your financial future, instead of being derailed by unnecessary interruptions.
